God, who am I to decide
What I deserve
I want to scream
You are the Lord
God, would You guide
Me to serve
Reveal in dream
You hold the sword
Let me not accept
What satan would have for me
For this is not Your precept.
Help me to seek
Give me eyes to see
What for Your eyes leak
God, don't they leak for love.
God help me to perceive,
That tears fall from far above.
All the death of this life,
Your love can relieve,
Reveal the life in Your death.
I have snatched the liberty of death,
But I cry out for the power of life.
Let Your authority strike my nerve,
Make renown more than I deserve.
