The day started like any other in West City, bustling with life. From the sizzling of pans to the murmurs of satisfied customers, my restaurant, Marron's Menu, was alive with energy. You could feel it in the air-the rhythmic dance of flavors in the kitchen, the clinking of cutlery, and the occasional laughter echoing through the cozy space.

(As I maneuvered through the kitchen, memories of my journey surfaced.)

Marron: Life's been a wild ride, you know? From the kid who barely knew how to fry an egg to owning this place. Mom and Dad, they taught me that love and laughter make the best recipes. Growing up, I thought my Saiyan pals had the craziest stories, but turns out, even a plain human like me can have an epic tale.

College was a trip. Got a scholarship to West City College-couldn't believe it! Dad was over the moon; he probably told everyone in the neighborhood. And that scholarship? It was like winning the Dragon Balls!

(With Aiden and Maya by my side, college life became a blast.)

Marron: Aiden and Maya, my partners in crime! We'd conquer exams, binge-watch Earthflix, and sneak into the campus kitchen for late-night snacks. And then there's Alex my red head glasses wearing cutie who's always been helping me through it all who's been my partner in this restaurant adventure. Man, we make one killer team-like fusion, but in the kitchen.

After college, we opened Marron's Menu, blending Earth and Alien-inspired dishes. Mom said, "You're the chef of the century!" Dad was thrilled-probably more about the food than the success.

(Despite Mom and Dad being legendary fighters, our home was filled with warmth.)
Marron: Growing up, I watched Dad and Mom kick butt, saving the world. Yet, they made our home feel like a sanctuary. Mom, the fierce warrior; Dad, the funny guy who tried to teach me to fight. But hey, I had my own plans-wanted a life without ki blasts and training sessions.

THE CALL
(Amid the kitchen chaos, a call disrupts the routine.)

Marron: (raising an eyebrow) What's with the morning drama? Phones don't usually ring this early.

Customers kept coming, each dish a small victory, until I finally got a moment to check the TV.

News Broadcast
TV Announcer: We interrupt your regular programming for breaking news. A sudden snowstorm has engulfed the world, accompanied by reports of illness and strange behavior in affected areas.

(The news sends shivers down my spine.)
Marron: (muttering) A snowstorm? This ain't your regular frosty morning.

I couldn't shake off the unease, the feeling that something was off. As if the world outside was about to be flipped on its head.
