Detective Michael Taylor
Present

"Jack...you can't be serious!" I couldn't believe what he said.

The kid he was talking about couldn't have been Tomas. The kid just didn't seem the type to have gotten mixed up in all that. Based on what I saw of his room and what the Officer had told me, Tomas... was a normal kid. He worked more than the average kid, and he may have been a bit of a loner, but he definitely didn't seem the kind to get caught up in gang related stuff. He also seemed the least likely of all people to be made a sexual object.

"I am as serious as a heart attack!" Jack leaned back again, the folder still in his hands. "The only information I've got on a male dark hair, dark blue eyes, kinda fair skin teenager is this! I've got a kid matching the description you've given me in A flop house out in Frisco that is being primed."

"And just where do you get your information?" Terry leaned in, perturbed. He was in disbelief, his eyes knotted together and his mouth turned foully.

"I can't just share my informants!" His body came forward and he dropped the folder in his hands onto the desk.

Terry scowled and cut his eyes at me. "Mike!" He whispered. "Do something!"

"Jackie..." I began. "You've got to give us a little something...it's not for us...it's for the kid we've got missing...if it's the same one you're talking about, then we have got to get to him sooner rather than later."

He stared at me for a minute, then he groaned in defeat, "alright alright!" He threw his hands up.
"It's a young woman in the same house as this male teenager." He began.

Terry resumed writing his notes.

"I don't know what her professional name is or any aliases she might use, but her real name is Bei-Ye. She's a pro... so she probably had a record. You might wanna check that out. She came by a couple days ago about this kid. She says the leader just up and brought him into the house. She said the other didn't know till he paraded the kid in front of them like a prized treasure...although I think that was a lie. She described him as a bit short, darker hair, dark blue eyes, medium skin, and quiet. She said that the leader gets up to some weird stuff with that kid, what we would call grooming. She also said he keeps the kid locked up." Jack explained as concisely as he could.

Terry was shaking his head.

"Locked up?" I focused on. "Where?"

Jack shrugged, "I don't know, but she made it seem like he was basically a prisoner."

"Well...that's not in line with someone who ran away on purpose." I sighed.

"Not at all," Terry added. "Do you know where this house is?"

"No I don't," he began, "Bei-Ye never would tell me and it's not like the gang is very open about the base of operations on a brothel."

"If that kid is really a prisoner...and not just a run away..." Terry began.

"I know," I heaved

"This really sounds more like kidnapping, abduction, false imprisonment...something along those lines." Jack added on as well.

"Thanks Jackie." I stood up, relaxing the longer we took to find Tommy, the higher chance there was of us losing him forever.

Terry stood up immediately and Jack stretched his hand out.

"Of course Mike," he shook my hand. "Oh!" He suddenly seemed to remember something. "I'm not sure what the new leader of the Black Dragon's name is. I have this though." He passed me a picture.

As Terry looked over my shoulder, I felt a cold chill wind its way through me.

The picture was clear, like it had been from a camera with a fancy lense. The man in it was all in black, his hair was cropped short and slicked, he had jewelry all over him, he even wore sunglasses. Upon closer inspection of the picture it was also clear he carried an array of weapons.

"How the fuck do we explain this?" Terry whispered.

I shrugged. "Beats me." I gestured to the door. "Thank again, Jackie!"

"Anytime!" He called as Terry and I left his office.

"What are we supposed to do with that information?!" Terry whispered screamed as we got into the car.

"I have no idea..." I sighed rubbing the bridge between my eyes. "Let's take it back to the station."

"Hurry up," Terry rubbed his eyes. "This is getting too deep."

I drive as fast as I was legally allowed to and we made it back to the station in a short amount of time.

"You have to tell the Captian." Terry began.

"Yeah." I slammed the door shut as we went into the station. "We will." I made sure to point between the two of us as he rolled his eyes.

We rushed into the station and the minute we entered the main doors, Terry called out, "Captain!"

"What?!" The Captain appeared from his office.

"We need to talk!" He gestured into his office.

The Captain only shook his head and went back into his office, with us following behind him.

"Whatcha got?" He asked.

"Well...Captain..."Terry began, unsure of how to continue.

"Do you remember that missing kid? The homicide witness?" I piped up.

"Yeah, I've got those homicide bastards breathing down my neck about him. Why?" The Captain asked.

"Turns out he might have been kidnapped or abducted." Terry slide into the conversation.

"Aw hell!" The Captain sighed. "How can you be sure?"

"He doesn't seem to be the type to run away for one; and two we have information regarding a connection to gangs which leads me to number three...we've got information that the witness is being kept against his will in a brothel." I explained as easily as possible.

"Where is this whore house?" He asked.

"We don't know...all we know is that it's in Frisco." Terry added.

"Damnit all to hell!" The Captain cursed under his breath as he picked up the phone and began dialing.
