Chap. 26- Another Dream

(SophiePOV)

I saw him... Going through life... Without me. He was with another girl who was eerily familiar... I saw them growing old together. They were smiling and saying their vows. I looked down at myself. I was in my own body.

"JASON, NO!" I shouted at the top of my lungs from the end of the isle in front of the church doors.

He was getting married to the girl who wasn't me. I heard a voice inside my head saying, "Soph, it just wasn't right. I don't love you anymore. It's been over since the start,"

I recognize it as an older version of Jason...

They're jogging down the isle hand in hand with the most happy faces I've ever seen. They were in love...

My eyes snapped open as I jolted awake. It was only just a dream. My hands are clammy, my face is beaded in sweat, and my blankets are sprawled on the floor beside my bed. I'm shivering and there are goosebumps dotted across my arms and legs. I feel tears streaming down my face. I hastily wipe them away while propped up on my elbow. I crane my neck to check the time, 6:00 am. Beams of early morning sunlight shone through the cracks of the curtains. I drape my legs over the side of my bed, facing the area where Lizzy was hopefully getting a blissful dream about her and Mikey, unlike mine of Jason. I peer around the room and see everybody fast asleep. Lucky ducks.

I rubbed my eyes and stood while arching my back. I slipped on my black and lime green Urban Empire sweatpants and a pair of black socks. As for a top, I slipped a solid white cropped muscle tee over my gray sports bra and cami and half tucked it into the front band of my neon pink Nike shorts which were under my sweats. I put on my pair of solid black Nike freer in+ running sneakers. After swigging a mouthful of mouthwash and spitting, I grabbed my phone and stepped out of the hotel with myself, my phone, and $10 to walk in downtown Miami.

I got myself a drink from Starbucks, and started to walk around Miami. It's so perfect here, the beaches, the city, everything. I honestly with I could live here. I walked around until about 7:30 trying to forget about the terrifying then I started to go back to the hotel. I got back to the hotel, and went up to the room. The rest of the girls were awake, since we had rehersals early this morning. We all hate having early rehersals, it makes us tired, and cranky. All of the girls were sitting in silence on their phones. We still aren't used to this tour schedule, but I really think we'll he used to it soon, I hope.

"Hi!" I chirped.

Their heads snapped up from their phones and they all stood.

"Where the eff were you, we were worried about you!" Charlotte exclaimed.

"Let's just say I had a pretty wicked dream,"

Everybody tilted their heads in confusion except for Lizzy. Her hazel eyes filled with anxiety and worry.

I shook it off and shifted my weight onto my right foot. "Well let's go to rehearsal, yeah?"

"Leggooo!" They all shouted simultaneously.

After a few more minutes of getting ready, we bounded down the hall, into the elevator, and into the auditorium. It was mainly just a large performance stage and an empty floor. There were three large screens covering the walls behind and surrounding the stage. After an hour of watching their rehearsing, it was finally time where I came out as a special dancer. We all did one hip hop routine. I'm a ballerina but I dance almost everything but ballroom. However, ballet is what I breathe and live for. It was finally time for my duet with Jason. To be honest, I was nervous about dancing with Jason. In this case, I was hoping that the saying 'Dreams do come true,' was a false opinion.

Anyway, I checked my ribbons on my pointe shoes and adjusted my tights, royal blue leotard, and black spandex. I tightened my bun and waited for our cue to step on stage. When I did, I felt the bubbly feeling that I usually do when I'm up here. We started dancing, and I lost myself. I poured my heart and soul into this dance and each move flowed out of me with emotion and sharpness. After we were done, we were left off stage, panting.

"You did so well, you looked amazing," Jason told me.

I couldn't help but blush and look down and my feet when I heard his comment. I looked back up and into his eyes.

"Thank you," I said with a small smile playing on my face.

"You're welcome beautiful." He smiled and kissed me gently on the lips.

About two hours later, rehersals were finished. We were all really tired and hungry so we decided to go get some lunch. We walked around Miami for a while, until we found a Panera. We walked in, and ordered our lunch. We got our food, and sat down at a table. We ate in silence for a while, then started talking about the tour, and what we wanted to do.

"When are we leaving Florida?" Lizzy asked.

"I'm pretty sure we're leaving in like, two days." I replied.

"But what if I don't want to leave?! You all can leave me here alone and I can survive!" She said and laughed.

All of us are really enjoying Florida, it has definitely been our best tour stop so far.

Soon after that little conversation, we all finished our lunch and went back to the hotel to freshen up and start to get ourselves together. After we got cleaned up, we met up in the lobby. It was only about five o'clock and we still had time to kill.

The girls and I ended up taking a quick trip to the corner store to restock on any makeup we needed. The boys and us went our separate ways.
