The Next Morning...

Ada pulled down her plague doctor mask and secured her bow and arrows on her body. It was 5:30 in the morning, and the three are up and ready to go. Timothee just finished taking one dose as well as Jake.

"Where's our next stop?" Ada asked.

"The chapel." Answered Timoithee. "I saw a glint on the roof last night, won't hurt to check it out."

Jake yawned. "Did you even sleep?"

Timothee deadass stared at him. "I couldn't sleep when you're snoring at 94 decibels, Muller."

Ada looked away to stop herself from laughing.

"And what's that equivalent to?" Jake raised a brow.

Timothee finished putting his gloves on and opened the door. "A lawnmower," He said as he exits the house.

Ada followed behind, snickering to herself as she passed by the tall man. Jake threw his hands in the air and sighed.

"Good morning to you too, Timmy."

"Captain I thought we were supposed to leave at dawn?" Lee watches the captain light up a cigarette in the middle of the room.

Chris blew off some smoke into the air and shook his head, "I spotted a bigger one than those things we saw last night. It's best to move when we can see better. Any sign of Winters?"

"Negative. He's been MIA since the vehicle crashed in the snow." Lee replied.

"Are you saying the whole family's missing? I thought it was just the mother?" Carlos asked as he lowered his balaclava.

" I mean, at first it was just the mother. Then his daughter, and now him." Wicked said sarcastically.

"Poor bastard." Allen adds.

"I saw some choppers the other day. Who do you think it is?" James asked to divert the topic.

Chris glanced his way and shook his head. "Whoever it is, they're bad company."

After a few discussions here and there, the squad decided to leave their station and look around.

"It's pretty quiet today," Said Lee.

"Captain." James called out to Chris.

The others turned towards him, looking over at the dead lycan with an arrow pierced through its head. Bullseye.

"The blood looks fresh," Wicked said as he kneeled to examine the wound.

"There's another one over here!" Allen yelled.

Chris and the others walked over to him.

"This one got his bloody head blown off." Said Allen.

Chris was suddenly hit with a strong sense of deja vu for what reason? He doesn't know.

"That looks vaguely familiar." Carlos adds.

Several of these were lined up along the snowy path, leading to an open space where three people stood and one larger lycan. It appeared with a huge sledgehammer and a beard made out of thin tentacles. The hound wolf squad hurried towards them, curious to find out what was happening.

"Duck!" Jake exclaimed as he looked ahead of them.

Before Chris could react, Jake twirled his body in the air, raised his leg and sent one of the lycans back to the broken roof where it jumped in an attempt to topple Chris down.
