" I said no Y/N! God knows what could happen to you! "

She stands and shouts at me, her saliva going everywhere the more angry she gets. I only asked if I could go out for a few hours, the other day I brought a new outfit and thought I'd wear it out soon. Of course I haven't shown my mum the outfit, she'd deem it unholy or to slutty for my age.
I'm old enough to wear it, she just doesn't think I'm as old as I am.
" you'll have to many drinks and get taken away by some man! You're only young! "
I'm not young. I turned 30 last month. In her mind I'm still 20. I don't know why I stay here, I don't have any of my own money to go anywhere. My mum knows people and will easily call the police if I try to leave, she tries to say I'm mental unstable and shows the officers all of these pills from doctors. She put my name on them when in reality they were for her.
I was afraid to leave. I loved her I really did, she's my mother. But she makes me feel like a child, like I cant do anything without her permission.
" now go back upstairs! I don't want to argue any longer. I'll have to think twice about getting you that phone. "

I knew it was best to listen to her, so I simply nodded and sluggishly dragged my self up the stairs.

Now John ( husk ) at the bar is a friend of mine, he gets me my drinks for free.

Normal time

I sit at my table, only a small white one with a mirror attached to it. Husk still slept peacefully behind me however it started to get late in the morning and I could hear the others downstairs. I plan on leaving before husk does so it's not suspicious that we both come down together.
I only put on some light makeup, I see I'm still pale from last night and a few red dots from the flowers mark my face.
I turn to Lucy who sits at the table watching me, I smile at the small creature. " how do I look? "

" you look nice "
I drop my brush and look behind me startled, my wings puff up in surprise as a grubby voice spoke up.
Husk is rubbing his eyes while resting on his elbow in the bed, a little playful smirk on his face as he pushes back strands of his hair.
" good afternoon "
I roll my eyes at his ' compliment' and joke about the time he's waking up, sure it's not actually the afternoon but it will be soon.
I stand up, already dressed as I pick up Lucy and place her on my shoulder. No I didn't get dress in front of husk sleeping, I took my clothes to the little bathroom of my room, I couldn't risk him waking up while I was naked. " are you uh, feeling okay? "
I watch as husk sits up in the bed with a small stretch, his eyes glued on me as he searches me for any signs of pain. Him watching me makes me feel hot and almost embarrassed, I play with my fingers as I look down at my feet and around the room. " yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be? "
I stood with a smile, of course I felt fine now but it's clear he's thinking about last night. I rock on my heels and hope he drops the subject.

" well okay then "
He shrugs and moves to the side of the bed, standing up tall as he stretches out his wings. Patting off some rouge petals from his fur he does up the suspender that came undone in his sleep, I watch as his white face slowly turns pink. I look outside and think it's just the natural red lighting making him appear like that. I clap my hands together and speed walk towards the door. " well I'll see you downstairs then "
Waving goodbye to his back I quickly get out of the room, I lean my back on the door for a moment as I feel my self go red. If that wasn't really awkward I don't know what is.

" okay everyone! We need to make this place look actually good "
Vaggie stands next to Charlie as everyone starts to walk away from the couch, I slowly come down the stairs as I see I bunch of banners on the floor.
Reaching the bottom and everyone rushes off to do stuff I get next to Vaggie and tap her shoulder. " what's going on? "
Charlie hears and turns around also, I watch as her face lights up as she smiles widely and walks to my side to give me a small hug. " your okay! That's a relief " she lets go and observes my face, I look down and my face gets hot in embarrassment. I guess Charlie was there to see last night. I just shrug my shoulders and force a little smile to her, not really wanting to talk about it.

" My dad is coming to the hotel! Extermination day is getting close and I really need some extra help "
Charlie nervously plays with her hands as she explains, i guess that's why everyone is making the hotel look.. welcoming?
I watch as Charlie's two little demons razzle and dazzle pin a banner above the door saying 'welcome daddy ' which was really cute actually. I can see she's nervous for her dad to see the hotel, now that I think about it, it's a bit strange he hasn't come here and helped our already. However he is the king of hell, he probably has important stuff to be doing.
" I can help, what needs to be done "
I put my hand on Charlie's shoulder and smile at her, offering my help for something small is the least I can do. Charlie's face lights up as she looks around before spotting sir pentious and Niffty walking towards the dinning area.
" how about you go help sir pentious and Niffty! I think they said they would make cookies "

That seemed easy enough, I've got a good bond with Niffty and it wouldn't hurt to get to know pentious more. So I nod and turn around to catch up with the pair before Charlie shouts back at me, " oh and have you seen husk? I haven't seen him all day "
I look towards the bar and realise he's still in my room, but I cant tell her that. While walking backwards I shake my head trying to act confused before turning back around and fast walk towards the other demons.

Let's go make some cookies.
