Wayne, Dan, Dary, Katy, and I sat outside the produce stand, sipping a puppers and talking about recent events. Katy told us about how the hockey players were hitting her up non stop, and that she was debating it.
"I fuckin hate those nut sacks." Wayne says with a grunt
"What do you have against hockey players Wayne." I asked
"Hockey players would grab a monkey by the tit if they could." He responds
"Can confirm" Katy adds
"So Y/n are you working tomorrow night? Daryl asked
"And miss your party Hard no, Gail's coming too so the bar is closed." I tell him, he smiles wide
"What?" I asked a little confused.
"Nothing~" he says in a sing song voice
"Dary." Wayne says in almost a warning way.
"What?" I asked again
"Nothing~" Dary says the same thing.
"Dary." Wayne once again warns him.
"What?!" I raise my voice a bit, getting frustrated.
"You've never been to a party correct?" Dary asks me
"Wow harsh Dary." I put my hand on my chest in fake offence.
"No no! I just meant, I mean Im just excited for your first party, especially with us." He starts stuttering and fumbling over and explanation
"Im excited too." I say smiling.
"Do you know what your wearing?" Katy asks me. I think for a second and shrug, I hadn't really thought about it.
"Come get ready here i'll let you borrow something that i think would be totally cute on you." she tells me, I agreed to come over, and we spent a few more hours hanging out before splitting off for chorin and work.
I showed up at Katy and Wayne's place and knocked on the door, Wayne answered but i could hear Katy call threw the house asking if it was me, Wayne called back confirming it was then invited me in. Katy came rushing down the stairs and with no words grabbed my hands and dragged me up to her room. She showed me the outfit she had picked out for me and it was really cute, simple and yet sexy. before changing she did my hair in a simple curl and touched up my mascara. I felt really confident when I checked myself out in her mirror.
I helped Katy curl her hair too and she dressed in something similar to what Im wearing, by the time we were ready I could hear music and laughter coming from outside.
"Ready?" Katy asks me extending her arm.
"Ready." I tell her wrapping my arm in hers.
We exited her house and headed to the produce stand where she saw Wayne and the guys standing talking to Tanis.
"Yous looks amazing Miss Y/ns" Dan compliments me.
"I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers that's all I know." Mrs McMurray says coming up and wrapping her arms around mine and Katy's shoulders, putting her face right up to my ear
"Thank you" I say, thankfully McMurray came up and Mrs. McMurray left to cling to his shoulder. Wayne had been silent but was pretty much staring you down. We made eye contact and he finally looked away staring off into the crowd. Katy smiled at this. Dary hands me a beer and opens it for me, the music was pumping and everyone was having a great time. I was dancing with Dary when Wayne came up to us, he gave Dary a nod and he reciprocated it, walking away.
"May I have this dance." Wayne asks extending his hand, which I accept with a smile.
He pulled you close and swayed with you to the music, almost perfectly to the melody, I couldn't help but giggle when he spun you and somehow brought you even closer than before.
"I wouldn't have taken you for the dancing type Wayne." I say looking up at him, unable to even lessen the smile that spread across my cheeks as he continued to lead me in the dance, he just shrugged in response, leading you away from the crowd a bit as you danced together.
"So do you guys often throw parties for the entire town?" I asked glancing at the crowd that seemed to be literally the entire town
"Often as we can." He replies
"But it wasn't the entire town til this one." He comments smirking slightly down at you, my blush was unstoppable as I stared into his eyes
"Guess your right." I quipped, chuckling lightly. It seemed like he was going to say something else but got interrupted by Katy and Tanis running up to you two smiling wide.
"Come on were doing Jägerbombs" she says grabbing your wrist and pulling you right out of Waynes arms in one swift motion, dragging you almost clear across the yard to the produce stand where Bonnie McMurray was pour our drinks out with Gail behind her dancing to the music. I hadn't even noticed how far we'd gotten from the actual party until Katy had to drag you back to it.
"Is this your first Jägerbomb?" Katy asked handing you your glasses, I nodded
"Okay so you just drop the shot in the glass then chug okay?" She says taking her own glasses from Bonnie
"Okay." I say chuckling at her drunken state
