In the blink of an eye, the weekend had passed and Y/n had returned to her regular classes
Her first class of the day?
Potions.
'to be honest, I'm so scared I think I'm gonna pass out before I even get there'
Potions had always proved to be a... difficult class for the young L/n. Not that the subject itself was hard, just the process of it. Y/n had been lucky enough to work alone, but because it wasn't an independent class it was hard for her to survive
This year, Y/n had potions with the Slytherins. Opening the door to the classroom, she knew that even if this was one of her "not as favourite" classes, one thing would be different
As soon as she stepped foot in the classroom a pretty brunette waved her hand at the e/c eyed girl with a broad smile, calling her over to sit in the empty seat beside her
This time, she had a friend.
Y/n quickly made her way to Pansy, taking a seat on the stool next to the girl. "G-Good morning Pansy," she said with a warm smile, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear
Pansy smiled back at the girl, completely lost in her radiant presence. 'she's just as bright as ever' she thought, her fidgeting feet tapping the hard wooden floor, 'I'm gonna need to start wearing sunglasses...'
"Good morning to you too, Y/n," Pansy replied, resting her chin in the palm of her hand, "You we're almost late to class, I thought you wouldn't come," she teased, enjoying the way the girl looked when she was embarrassed
Y/n laughed awkwardly, nodding her head at the Slytherin's statement as she recalled her earlier moments, "ahaha.. I-I got a little distracted this morning..."
1 hour before class..
"Hm? C/n, I have to go.." Y/n looked at her cat with a frown, the feline whining as he followed her around, refusing to leave her side as she tried to leave her dorm, "Okay... a few belly rubs couldn't hurt...."
30 minutes before class..
"Aww.. you're so cute ><!!" Y/n said as continued to pet his head, watching as c/n rolled around and made silly poses, completely captivating her in his cuteness
10 minutes before class..
"Whose a cutie? You are!" the H/c-nette squealed as she snapped countless pictures of c/n, still fawning over the feline
2 minutes before class..
"Ah! C/n, your so-" Y/n froze once she saw the time in the corner of her phone, stopping c/n's mini photoshoot for a brief moment
"I-I-I.." Tears welled in her eyes as she immediately slung her bag over her shoulder and bolted out the door, leaving c/n lying on the floor all alone
'I'M GONNA BE LATEEE!!!'
Y/n sweatdropped, she had to stop falling victim to c/n's shenanigans, it wasn't good for her well-being. Still, the hundreds of cute pictures that had been added to her camera roll proved to be well worth it
"Huh.. I always thought you'd be the more punctual type, being a Ravenclaw and all," A playful voice was heard behind the h/c haired girl, who quickly turned around to face the new presence. Behind her sat Lorenzo who had been looking down at her with a teasing smirk, his cheek resting on the back of his hand. Next to him accompanied Draco and Mattheo, who had been looking away from the e/c eyed girl
