Daro
With Anakin at the helm and R2 plugged into the navigation port, the Forward Unto Dawn dropped out of hyperspace inside Daro's atmosphere. Seeing that this planet likely had a massive planetary shield, the advance team had to improvise. Deciding to attempt a very dangerous hyperspace maneuver, the Forward Unto Dawn dropped out just above the surface as Skywalker pulled on the controls with all of his might.
But it was not enough, as the Dawn's left wing struck a tall tree, the ship quickly billowed out smoke as the craft crash landed on the mountainous planet. Luckily however, all the occupants of the Dawn were unharmed and ready for a fight. To assure that they had they highest chance of success, Blue Team along with Fordo and his ARC troopers, the Bad Batch and Ahsoka were sent on the Forward Unto Dawn to disable any defenses before the fleet arrived.
Breaking off into four squads, the groups' assignments were as follows. Fordo and his ARC troopers would take out the massive ion cannon that would fire on the fleet. The Bad Batch would locate the main airfield and disable any reinforcements that could potentially take out the incoming LAATs. Blue Team was split into two groups, Alpha and Bravo; Alpha would take out the shield generator while Bravo takes out the communications array. Anakin would go with Alpha, R2 with Bravo and Ahsoka would tag along with Fordo and his men.
Given that the ion cannon was the furthest away, the ARC team mounted up on some BARC speeders and blasted off while the rest took off on foot. Once they reached an intersection, the Bad Batch left for the airfield while Blue Team went for the main base. Looking at the source of the communications and the origin of the shield, Chief stared at a massive mountain that stood out from the rest of the forest.
After climbing up the mountain, Blue Team reach the top and looked down into a massive hole where a large base was built on the circumference of the inside of the mountain. Scanning the dozens of platforms and hangars, Chief estimated that there were a few thousand troopers stationed here along with at least two squadrons of TIE fighters. Giving the signal, Alpha team fired their ascension cables into the ground and started abseiling down the inside of the mountain. Bravo commenced their jog along the top to a communications antenna that maintained contact with the rest of Palpatine's forces.
Making up Alpha team was Master Chief, Skywalker, Fives, Echo, Jesse, and Hardcase. Bravo was made up of the rest of Blue Team along with R2-D2. The plan was that once they disabled the communications array, they would join Alpha inside and dismantle the facility from within. Soon reaching the comms array, Bravo got to work with June and Romeo keeping watch from on top of the ledge. Static, Gears and R2 remained glued to the electronics box on the outside while the remainder of Bravo breached the comms room through a rooftop window. Quickly eliminating the inferior non-clone troopers before starting to push down the hallway, Bravo was soon met with heavy resistance as a whole platoon of 40 troopers advanced on their position. However, the communications were disabled and Static had managed to restrict comms to only planet-side, meaning that no-one on the base could call for reinforcements from the Imperial fleet above.
Getting to the shield generator was relatively easy for the elite warriors, with Chief and Skywalker leading the front and the ARC troopers bringing up the rear. It wasn't long before they breached the generator room and cleared it of all opposition. Letting the Chosen One do his thing, Alpha team merely stood back as Anakin used the Force to crush the building sized generator. Resulting in electric arcs sparking all across the room and fires spewing out of the gas pipes as the gas was ignited by the sparks.
Meanwhile at the ion cannon, Fordo and his men were tearing through the inferior TK troopers faster than they could even call for help and with Commander Tano there to help, it was all too easy. But then they appeared, three figures dress in full black suits with red visors glistening and Imperial insignias on either shoulder. The shorter one on the left had a feminine figure to her and wore a midnight black cape that draped behind her as the group walked towards the Republic forces. The one on the right had an average build and had no cape but rather a short kama similar to the one that the ARC troopers wore. The final one in the center was at least a head taller than the other two and had a slim build but wore additional black armour on his chest to compensate.
