It's been a couple days since Matthew came over. He's been over a couple more times since then. It's been nice to socialize again. I've missed it. I've talked to Hanbin about seeing more people soon but they are all busy with their lives, so many not.
"Hao, Yujin wants to know if it's ok to come over?" Hanbin asks me.
I nod in reply. I'm truly glad to see Yujinnie again. He must be so big now. Gosh...what is wrong with me? Leaving all of my friends for some stupid guy?!
"Hao, are you alright? What's wrong?" Hanbin snapped me out of my thoughts. Shoot, why am I crying?
I smile at Hanbin and wipe my tears. "Sorry, I'm fine. Just was thinking too much." I say.
"It's ok, don't apologize. Do you want to talk about it?" Hanbin asks me. But I shake my head in reply.
"I rather not right now, Bin. Thanks though. I want right now to be happy, not sad. I'm excited to see Yujinnie."
Hanbin smiles back. "I'm glad you are. He's been waiting for so long. He's very excited to see you too."
When Yujin arrived at Hanbin's apartment, Hanbin opened the door as I waited behind him. He opened the door to reveal Yujin who had a huge smile on his face. He's definitely grown busy still has that cute baby smile.
"Hyung," Yujin began as he walked into the apartment. He stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. Hanbin probably told him about the hugging thing. But it's Yujin. Little baby Yujinnie. And so I open my arms up. "Are you sure?" He asks me. I nod softly in reply. He then walked closer to me and hugged me back. It was a gentle hug. But boy I've missed his hugs. Here come the tears again.
"I've missed you so much Yujinnie. You've grown so much." My eyes start watering more.
Yujin rested his head on my shoulder as he continued to hug. "I've missed too Hyung." He says before disconnecting from the hug. He looked at me with teary eyes too. "Are you alright? I was really scared, Hyung."
That's when I became a sobbing mess. "I'm alright Jinnie. I'm here now. And I'm never leaving again. I promise." We hug again.
Maybe it's because Yujin is so much younger than me that his hugs don't trigger me much. I'm still definitely not fully comfortable with hugging, but I can't not hug him. He's like a little brother to me back in high school.
The visit lasted a long time. We went back and forth asking questions and catching up. I mainly asked Yujin since I don't really want to talk about where I've been all these years.
"So you must be done high school. Are you in university now?" I ask Yujin.
He nods. "Yeah, I attend the Seoul International Dance Academy. I'm only in my first year though. But it's nice. I attend with Gunwook. But he also does training at the hospital as a volunteer nurse since at the academy you need some community service hours....for some reason."
"You know Gunwook?"
"Mmhm, he moved to our high school in grade ten. We've been friends ever since. But he's really private about his life so I didn't know about him living with your parents." Yujin explained.
"Oh that's cool. How's school going for you?"
Our conversation continued for a while. And then we all ate take out before the visit ended. After a while later Yujin got ready to leave since he has classes tomorrow.
"It was amazing seeing you, Hyung. I'm really glad you are back an safe. I was really worried." Yujin said.
"I'm glad you came to visit. It was also amazing to see you again. I've missed you and the others so much." I say.
After some goodbyes Yujin left and so I walked to the kitchen to help Hanbin clean up.
"I'm proud of you Hao." Hanbin tells me. "You didn't have to hug him you know. But I'm glad you did."
"I know but Yujin is like a little brother to me. I missed him just as much as the others. I couldn't help but hug him."
After cleaning up it was already late so I washed up and headed to bed since socializing made me pretty tired.
I'm really happy I got to see Yujin today. Matthew, Yujin and now I just got to wait for the others to not be busy with their lives. Maybe I'll try to get in contact with some of them.
