Just like Matthew, Yujin has been over a couple more times since he first came to visit Hao. And both Mathew and Yujin have both come a couple of times.

I've noticed that Hao has been smiling a lot lately. And he seems to be getting better. I'm glad he is. His past doesn't deserve to drag him down any longer. I hope he can be happy from now on.
Oh, which reminds me. His birthday is coming up soon. Shoot! What should I get him?! What does he even like?

"Hey Hanbin, is it ok if I go out with Matthew for ice cream?" With Matthew? Just Matthew...WAIT! This is perfect! While Hao's out of the house I can plan for his birthday!
"Hanbin?"

"Sorry, yes of course, you don't have to ask me, have fun!" I smile.

"Ok, I'll be back soon." Hao smiled as he went off to go put his shoes on at the door.

A couple minutes later I noticed Hao hadn't left yet, and it had already been plenty of time to get shoes on.

"I'm sorry." Hao said as he finished putting his shoes on. I noticed his voice sounded shaky. He sniffs which confirms my suspicions.

"Hao?" I walk closer to him but he steps back a bit. Oh shit. I stop in my tracks. "Hao? Is everything alright?"

"Yeah sorry, just a habit." He apologized again.

"Hao, don't apologize. It's ok. You haven't done anything wrong. You can do whatever you want. It's your life."

Hao broke down into tears after what I said. He walked closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist into a tight hug, sobbing his eyes out on to my shoulder. So I hug him back. Obviously. Trying my best to comfort him.

"I don't know why I'm crying so much." He sorta giggles, breaking from the hug. "I guess cause it's been so long since I've heard that." I wipe his tears with my thumb.

"It's ok to cry. I cry too. Just tell me if you need anything. I'm here for you. If you ever need a hug. Or a cuddle-" shit. Why did I say that?! "Um I mean uh," nice one Hanbin. "If you ever need someone to talk to. Or if you want to talk to someone I can help you do that."

He smiles. "Thanks Bin. You are an amazing friend."

Friend? I felt my heart drop right there. Why though? Of course we are just friends. Nothing...more. "Heh," nice going. Jeez. "Of course Hao. I'm always here for you. Now go on before you are late. Matthew hates when people are late." I sarcastically say.

After Hao left I flopped on to the couch. "Ughhh!" I groan. Why am I so stupid? I really am. I thought I got over my feelings for Hao. No, of course not. How could I? He's...never mind forget it. I can't ruin what we have now. No way. I can't lose him again. Friends is all we—

*ding!!

When I pick up my phone I see a text from Yujin.

Little Bro

Y: HYUNG!!
Y: HYUNGGGG!!!
Y: EMERGENCY!!!

H: What's wrong?

Y: RICKY HYUNG IS ON HIS WAY TO YOUR PLACE!

My skipped a beat.

H: What do you mean "he's on his way" ? Why is he on his way to my apartment?

Y: it may have slipped out my mouth that Hao Hyung is there...

H: YUJIN!

Y: HYUNG IM SORRY! I REALLY DIDNT MEAN TOO! IT JUST SLIPPED OUT AND I TRULY AM SORRY! WHAT DO I DO?!

H: it's fine, just tell him I'm not home. Hao isn't here right now he's out with Matthew.

Y: it's too late, he is already on his way to your place!

H: Where did you even meet him to tell him this? Aren't you supposed to be in class right now?

Y: He was on campus today and we ran into each other. Update me when he gets there, I feel terrible!

H: What if I just pretend not to be home? Did you tell him I'm home?

Y: no...thank god.

H: ok, I'll update you later

Of course I was...joking...about pretending I'm not home. The thing is, it's not that i don't want to talk to Ricky, it's that I don't want Hao to return when Ricky is here. What if he isn't ready to see Ricky for the first time in five years?

When a knock at the door was heard, I knew it was Ricky. Hao knocks softly...

"Ricky...., hey.. I didn't know you were coming by today." I played dumb.

"Hyung, I know he's here. Yujin told me, and I assume as soon as I left he texted you right away." Ricky replied. Yeah...he's not stupid.

"Ricky," I begin. "Here's the thing—"

"Why didn't you tell me he was here? I thought you said when he first disappeared if he ever returned you'd tell me right away. Same goes for me."

"Ricky, you know it isn't my place to tell someone's business. I swore to Hao that I wouldn't tell anyone, because he said not too. He wasn't ready—"

"Wasn't ready?! Hyung! I'm supposed to be his best friend. I don't understand. He comes back and plans to hide forever?"

"Ricky, this isn't the time nor place for this conversation. He isn't here right now and if he—"

Shit. It's too late. He's home already.

"I'm back—" Hao froze in his place at the sight of Ricky. "Ricky..."

Ricky didn't want to show it but it was kinda hard to not see his tears flow down his face at the sight of Hao. Now Hao is also crying....which makes me cry.

Ricky goes in for a hug, which I know isn't going to end well but I stay silent. Like I thought, Hao backed away to avoid the hug which makes Ricky confused.

Soon after, I leave the two, to give them room to talk. So I make my way to Matthew's for a while..
