With the Advent of PMC's being used for massive conflicts across the globe, Hypatia had it's own problems to attend to during their beggining into the future.
Superconductors are the equivalent to the Contemporary world's "Oil", and are highly valued pieces of technology. Hypatia produced as much as 60% of the worlds Superconductors, and over 75% of all Superconductor alloys.
This was HUGE, as it meant that the shattering Yun Dynasty had no way of protecting itself against possible outside powers. Major Industrial powers would and could easily take advantage of them.
Hypatia was one of them, politically and mentally. Hypatia wanted them to feel that their inability to move with the times causes their own downfall. The Yun are by far not happy about it.
The year is 2107, and the Futute is marked by ravaging conflicts in Africa and SE Asia. Hong Kong is being torn apart by revolutionary ideals, The Horn of Africa is being fought over...
The Hypatian Prime Minister elected in 2105 was Austin Primm. PM Primm was a well reserved man that had his thoughts about the world, but he didn't let it corrupt his Isolationist beliefs.
Austin Primm was also a fairly popular Prime Minister, similar to the one that changed everything. Austin has a popularity of around 91% in favor. This was HUGE, and only is ever rivaled by the old Prime Minister Kodiak Judkins.
So, Kodiak has four kids right? So where did all of his kids go, exactly? Did they leave Hypatia? Well, they didn't... and they found somewhere to live.
