The Yun Dynasty saw it's military struggle and it's economy fail, but due to vigorous statements from the new leader of the Yun Dynasty, it was the equivalent of a reinvigoration of the Yun people.

Hong Kong is sieged and over 400,000 Yun are killed or wounded in the siege. 91,000 Hong Kong civilians and insurgents are killed or wounded. The massive struggle showed that although the Yun weren't as strong overall, they still could fight.

Hypatia sees that their main adversary was likely going to make a comeback. By 2100, The Yun Dynasty spoke out to the world saying that "We are back on the forefront of the world stage. The Hodu Republic is in ruin, Hypatians are Isolated... we rule the world".

The Yun Dynasty in reality, didn't actually run the world. Hypatian economics alone shaped the modern globe for centuries. The Yun underestimated the Hypatian resolve... and it might just bite them in the ass.

Yun Troops were stationed on the border with the Hodu people. Russia and many other TNC powers would be stunned st the revelation. They looked to an awakening Hypatia, and saw that a World War is likely to happen soon.

Austin Primm was not a fan of the Yun Dynasty, but he doesn't want to start a war with them either. Hypatia stood it's ground on international affairs, but it did not want to give the Yun Dynasty any ground.

By 2107, Hypatia had 1.211 Billion people and the Yun Dynasty had 3.2 Billion. Less than a 3 to 1 advantage, and most Hypatians own firearms compared to the Yun. In comparison, the Yun would not be able to touch the Hypatian homeland.
