The Apocalypse

SAFETY.

     As Conner and Delvin kept shooting the zombies that were chasing them, the students and teachers rushed into the house like bees chasing its victims then Conner and Delvin.

   Delvin locked the door and looked at the students that were breathing restlessly except for those who had trained themselves to run like Henry, Lucian, Tom and Kelvin.

   As Delvin offered them water to drink, Conner checked their body for scars including Katherine's unconscious body.

   "What's wrong with her?" Conner asked Henry who refused to leave her side. "she always falls unconscious anytime something happens." Trudy scoffed at her and Henry immediately shot dagger at her which made her heart skip a few beats out of fear.

      "That's the mayor's son Delvin." Kate called Trudy and June's attention to the mayor's handsome son "let's go talk to him," Trudy told them but as they were getting closer to him, Henry asked for his help worrying about why Katherine was still unconscious leading him upstairs with his unconscious sister in is arms.

   "Argh!" Trudy growled as the hate she has for Katherine grew more and more thinking she stole her boyfriend "the guy she just met ,the guy who doesn't know her"

   The students, teachers, Conner and Delvin stayed in the house for a few hours so that the zombies would leave but they never did because Trudy and her so called friends kept making noise .

   Conner as a trained soldier doesn't like people who doesn't listen to command but he chose to  warn them but after they wouldn't stop making noise, he tied them down and shoved bread in their mouth. Henry found it hilarious  and wondered why he never did that to them but he kept a straight face. "Let's find something to lure the zombies away, it's almost night time and we need to get back to the white house," Conner said while looking out the window finding a way out.

  "You, you, you, you and you and Delvin, spread out and find what to use. Any form of sound you hear, don't investigate," he said to Delvin, Lucian, Tom, Henry, Kelvin and Troy.

   They all went around the house hoping to find something useful and they did. They found some flare gun that could hopefully shoot far enough to lure the zombies away.

   "Okay, once I shoot this, you  run!" Conner told them as he got ready to run. Conner jumped from the window while staying quiet so as not to attract the zombies. He got far enough then shot it and just like it was anticipated, the zombies ran after the bright light that was making a noise loud enough to attract their attention.

   Once the zombies were cleared, they all ran out of the house. Few minutes later, they got to the white house and was warmly welcomed by Clara and the twins. "Guests? What about the food?" Clara asked the boys and they both replied with 'yes' and 'we forgot'. 

    "Come on, let's take her upstairs." Delvin approached Henry and they both went upstairs. Delvin signaled Henry to put Katherine on the bed and he obeyed. After minutes of silence, Katherine broke the silence by moving her sleeping body and a smile crept on Henry's face.

   "Are you guys like," He pauses "A thing?" he asked judging from how Henry had been reacting to her every groan and movement "No' she's my sister," he said with a smirk on his face and a shock on Delvin's face. "Delvin by name, you?" he asked "Henry and my sister Katherine," he introduced "Sister." Delvin stood silent for a few minutes admiring Katherine. She was beautiful, in fact, stunning. Her silver like hair and her cute face almost like an anime character. It was like God took his time to specially create her. Delvin kept admiring her then he took a look at her cloth and how it brought out her hour glass shape, her curves and her thin waist, she looked like the anime version of sleeping beauty.

    Henry noticed the way Delvin was looking at his sister "She's a real cutie hun?" Henry broke the silence 'Hun?" Delvin snapped out of his love trance "She's a real cutie hun?" he repeated "Nah, I wasn't looking at her," he said quickly "I didn't ask if  were looking at her." Henry raised a brow with a smirk on his face.

   After few minutes of talking, Delvin finally confessed his love for Katherine even though he had just met her. Henry personally replied with a 'no' but he believed that it was his sister's decision.

   Shortly after, Katherine finally woke up and at that same moment, Conner walked into the room "Katherine, are you okay?" Henry faced her immediately forgetting about the remaining two boys "How long did I stay this time?" Katherine asked "A few hours," he replied "I'm sorry for always stressing you out by the end of the day. You had to carry me and run at the same time," Katherine sighed remorsefully "I train and get stronger everyday because of your condition. It'll soon go and you will run as fast and as much as you want okay." he caressed her cheeks .

   "Sorry to ask but are you two a thing?" Conner asked and they all replied at once with a NO. "How did you know they're not a thing Delvin?" Conner asked with a hint of playfulness in his tone and Delvin truly was speechless "I explained it to him earlier," Henry said and Conner snickered.
