Henry, Katherine, Conner and Delvin got to know each other better while the students and teachers downstairs were being appointed to their rooms, two people in a room. "Where's the president?" Katherine asked "Hmm...' Delvin thought for a while to decide whether to tell them or not but he later told them after promising not to tell anyone.
Night time came and all the students and teachers went to their appointed room and just as they expected, Katherine chose to stay with Henry. The next morning, Conner decided to talk through his walkie-talkie since it was all static noises ever since the zombie outbreak incident but he tried anyways but nothing but static noises could be heard. He sighed disappointedly then dropped the walkie-talkie but to his surprise, the commander replied "Dad," Conner jumped back to pick up his walkie-talkie "This might not be allowed at work but son, I missed you. I thought you were dead." The commander sniffed with a tear threatening to fall from his eyes "I'm okay dad." He smiled "What a out your squad, are they there?" The commander asked "Unfortunately not and how I survived was a miracle." Conner sighed in relieve
Who are you talking to?" Delvin walked in and was shocked to see Conner with a smile on his face "Shh, I'm talking to the commander." He shushed Delvin. "You can call me dad," the commander said over the walkie-talkie "Okay, dad," he said hesitantly "Why are you saying this all of a sudden?" Conner asked feeling uncomfortable "When I come get you' we'll talk about it," the commander said "What do you mean? Do you know where I am?" Conner face lit up and so did Delvin's "I'm guessing you're in the white house, I heard Delvin's voice and I'm coming to get you in soon after the Russian president, commander, the other countries and I find a way to stop these shit," the commander said and the line disconnected abruptly.
"Spicy." Delvin hissed delightedly "Looks like the commander and other countries are going to hatch up a plan soon," Conner said with a glimpse of hope on his face. "Hum-" Clara knocked on the door before entering to grab their attention "Morning boys, you both look happy today." she raised a brow expecting a gist from her sons "Well, the commander-" before Conner could continue Delvin interrupted "Which is Conner's dad." he smirked looking for trouble "He said he might come get us a-" once again Delvin interrupted " He means his daddy, father, papa." Delvin looked at Delvin with his teeth out and a smile formed on his lips.
"It won't work, nah, it wont." Conner smiled "Come on, say it. He said you should call him dad remember." he dragged his words and Conner and Clara had no choice than to laugh "Your dad is coming to get us soon. That's a thing of joy." Clara beamed "Yes, the comma-" Delvin interrupted "The what?" Delvin uttered "The comma-" once again Delvin interrupted "ha, ha. Dad" Delvin said "Yes, my d... dad." Conner bit his lips "You know some of us don't have a father anymore." Delvin rolled his yes and Conner looked at Clara and Delvin and he could see how hurt they were but they quickly replaced it with a smile.
After some minutes of joking, Clara was about to leave when she remembered why she was there in the first place, "Boys, we need a lot of food now that we're plenty in the house," Clara complained not wanting her sons to leave the house "It's okay mum, we'll get a lot of food today." Delvin assured her and she left.
Clara cooked all the remaining food with the help of some students now that they were triple the size, they were more hands on things around the house like cleaning, cooking and keeping watch. Some students even chose to study the zombies that were outside the gates hoping to find some things about the zombies that could help them. The students sat on the huge and long dining chair able to contain 100 people while Clara and the teachers talked as the adult of the house.
"We'll need a few people to go out with us for grocery shopping," Conner said "Henry, why don't you come with us. I saw you run yesterday and you were fast even though you were carrying your sister, you were faster then some. Judging from your muscles and how you carried your sister yesterday for like 30 minutes straight like you were carrying paper, you're pretty strong." Delvin said with a praising tone.
"I bet your weak worm won't allow you to go." Trudy mocked Katherine once more "I'll show you weak." Katherine stormed towards Trudy, slapped her, pulled her hair and she hissed. Trudy's friends stood up and she punched one while she used Trudy head to hit the second one and they both hissed in pain. Henry stood up knowing Katherine could wound Trudy but Lucian stopped him "She deserves it. When she bleeds enough, we'll stop her.," he smirked and Henry sat back down and they all watched Trudy scream I pain as blood trickled down from her head down to her face.
