The Apocalypse

Russia is safe??

       Clara knocked on the door attracting Conner and Delvin's attention.
       "Sorry to disturb you guys but we need some groceries," she said and they both replied with an "okay we'll get it tomorrow morning" without asking any question.
       Around 2:49Am, Katherine finally woke up." Henry." She called him weakly "Katherine!" He quickly  got closer to her "Are you okay?" He whispered to her " I think she needs some water and food," Lucian told Henry.
       "yes yes." He wondered around Katherine for a second before leaving to find some food and water. He grabbed some food, water and a sweater incase she was cold. "Take." He opened some snacks and the sealed water effortlessly offering it to Katherine and she munched it down like she had been hibernating on an empty stomach.
       While Katherine was munching on her snacks, Henry noticed that she was shivering but Katherine's brain was so focused on the food it didn't notice and was unable to send a signal around her body that she was cold but Henry being Henry, he covered her with the sweater he brought.
       "Tom why aren't you asleep?" Katherine old dry voice finally became moisturized and her angelic voice returned "Am not sleepy," he lied "I saw u dozing," she said with a sarcastic look and tone "Come sleep," she added and without hesitation, he laid down beside her "Lucia you should also go to sleep." She stood up for him so he could lay down "No, no, stay with your brother I'll go get more clothes," Lucian almost jumped after Katherine stood up "Let me follow you please," Katherine begged him and he looked at Henry who was asleep.
       "Come on." He stretched out his hands to carry her so she won't wake up sleeping Henry then dropped her after she was out of Henry's arms reach. She cuddles herself with the cardigan and let out a cold breath "Everything is so cold without Henry's warmth." She thought
       Katherine wanted to stay at the back but Lucian fearing what Henry would so if she got hurt refused "You and Tom always acts like my bodyguards." She rolled her eyes
       Lucian checked all the clothe racks but there was nothing there "Let's go check the back," Katherine said leading the way but Lucian pulled her back by  holding her hands stating that they didn't know what was in the front or at the back.
       They got to the back and thankfully there were no zombies "Ooh my gosh!!" She shrieked "What?" Lucian turned around thinking something had happened to her. "That dress is the most expensive, the newest and hottest. It's going on the shelves next week," she said excitedly. Lucian.
       "Girls." He rolled his eyes "come on, let's take some clothe and return before Henry realize I took you away from him." He threw some clothes at her and he carried some himself. After some minutes of arranging and teachers taking shifts, Lucian and Katherine fell asleep.

    Somewhere in Russia, the commander was with the president discussing about the zombies apocalypse. Somehow, the zombies didn't reach Russia. The Russian president heard about the zombies apocalypse before it happened which made him barricade the few towns he could reach.
   "Is the device ready?" He asked the commander "Yes sir." He stood at attention "Did you reach the information to the few countries we could reach?" He asked again "Yes sir. We warned 32 countries in total," the commander said "You can go." The president waved his hands at him to leave and he obeyed.
   The next morning, Conner, Delvin, the twins and Clara had a great breakfast almost like as if nothing was going on while the students and teachers in the mall ate the food they had on the shelves. "This food isn't for a princess like me!" Trudy threw the box of cereal she was munching on away angrily "Shh." Everyone shushed her "Am not going to shush, I have the right to speak!" she yelled angrily then went to grab the food they packed for the road.
   Before her hands could get to the food, she would need to climb the shelve, which she did but it couldn't take her weight. The huge shelves fell on each other creating a loud noise until the final one hits the ground with a loud BANG echoing around and beyond the mall. Everyone started panicking and looking outside the glass doors and windows praying that no zombies would show up.
   Unfortunately, luck was not on their side. Swarms of zombies looking like flies from the distance stated rushing to their direction of the mall and the only thing keeping them out was a glass door which was gradually starting to fail them.
