"Experiment #13, subject #1" A camera was being shoved in front of Bryan. He was being tested on like he was an animal. Bryan snarled at this.
It's been a couple of days since another portal power meltdown happened. Sadly the scientists were there when it happened. They taken upon themself to find out more about Bryan's power and with force they will.
They've managed to make a liquid portal with Bryan's blood. They've even managed to make a pure liquid portal without the need of Bryan's blood.
Some of this of course got injected into Bryan's blood. Bryan screamed, it felt like he was burning alive like he was transforming. He couldn't do anything though.
He was forced to wear restraints and had guards near by him at all times. He felt helpless and wanted to cry for someone to help him.
Where was Vendi during this? He was simply working in his office. Vendi check his phone again and again every hour. He was starting to get concerned and worried when Bryan wouldn't respond.
He hasn't responded in a few days. Vendi only thought was if he made bryan angry? Or upset with him by any chance? But they haven't seen each other in a while!
Vendi felt a vibration coming from his pocket. He check it to see a message from the scientists. It read "Dr. Vendi, we've had a break through with the portal. Please come when you have time to see the break through. "
Vendi sighed and got up from his desk. He was already finished with his work so he had time to spare. He walked over to the elevator and took it down.
Bryan saw the scientist looking at him fascinated as he screamed and squirmed in pain. What was going on? Why did they do this to him? Did Vendi approve of this?! Bryans vision went purple.
Next thing he knew he was being picked up and put into a corner. Something was injected onto his arm. "I guess this is the price to pay for wanting life back." He thought before darkness fell upon him
Clack clack clack
The sound of Vendi's dress shoes clacked on the cold stone floor of the portal room. He stopped infront of a scrawny looking scientist.
"Dr. Vendi sir, We have something to show you if you can follow me." The scientist grabbed a test tube from the lab station nearby. Revealing a purple glowing liquid inside.
"This as you see sir is portal, or a liquid version of it. We want to test it out first to see if there are any effects that comes from this." He held up the test tube closer to Vendi's face.
Vendi pushed it away from his face, "Well this is an excellent discovery. Please come to me if there is anymore information from this."
"Very well sir." Said the scientist. Vendi turned around to the door.
Clack clack clack
Vendi was still on what he did to bryan to make him unresponsive. Little did he know he was right next to him as he walked out. They both didn't know what was happening. Both unaware. Both nescient.
