After Percy was claimed, he was escorted to the head office, while Cassandra found herself being ushered to the infirmary by Althea. Despite Cassandra's attempts to downplay her wound, Althea insisted on treating the bleeding gash on her cheek. All Cassandra wanted was to eavesdrop on Percy's conversation just a few feet away from the infirmary.

"Jeez, you really must have angered the Ares kids for a wound like this," Althea remarked, applying pressure to Cassandra's cheek and softly humming a healing hymn.

"Yeah, I just defended Percy. They didn't like that much," Cass muttered. "And I may have accidentally blinded Clarisse. I really need some Photokinesis training or something."

"Considering you're one of a kind, that might be a challenge. Brace yourself, this might sting," Althea warned, dabbing wound disinfectant on Cassandra's cheek.

Cassandra winced in pain and bit her lip, then asked, "Am I good to go now?"

"Yep. You should be healed within the next 48 hours, perks of being a child of Apollo. Might scar though."

"Thanks, Althea," Cass said, rushing directly out the door.

"Enjoy eavesdropping on your boyfriend," Althea teased, knowing exactly where her half-sister was headed, earning an eye roll from Cassandra."

The blonde was on a mission, but she didn't have to go far. Her destination: the quest meeting Percy was attending. Percy, begrudgingly against the idea, had been forced to attend. However, Cassandra wasn't the only one with the idea of eavesdropping; Grover was also pacing just out of view from the glass office doors.

"You okay, Grover?" Cassandra said, catching his attention.

"Oh, hey Cass. Everything's fine, great, perfect," Grover rambled in an oddly high pitch.

"Doesn't seem that way, but okay," Cassandra shrugged, sensing that something was clearly bothering him.

Silently, the pair listened in on the office, piecing together fragments of what Chiron was telling Percy. There was mention of Zeus's stolen lightning bolts and the need to retrieve them from the Underworld. It was all incredibly confusing, much like everything else had been for Cassandra and Percy in the past few days.

"Hey, Grover? I wanted to apologize for my attitude these past few days. I know you were just trying to protect me and Percy. It was all just a lot to handle at once," Cassandra blurted out, regretting her behavior for days.
