"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?" AARON QUESTIONEDAS he passed me on his bike. We was only a 50 yards left before the end and I didn't have enough strength left to pedal fast enough to win and I knew it. So I stopped
"Ouch" I muttered out as I held my arm and Aaron stopped in front of me
"Are you alright?" He questioned as he moved back over to me. He looked worried as he tried to figure out what had happened "Did you hit something?"
"Yeah" I breathed out "Yeah I think- i'm gonna beat you" I quickly jumped on my bike and rode it to the end
"That's" Aaron laughed "That's really pathetic" once I finished I got off my bike and cheered
"I win!" I did a bow for the pretend audience I imagined in front of me
"Really? You don't win if you cheat" he walked over to me with his bike and set it down beside my own
"You just got to learn to keep up i guess"
"And what happened to slow and steady wins the race?"
"Who taught you that?" I scoffed scrunching my nose up in distaste
"My bike riding partner"
"Oh well, she sounds brilliant" I smiled widely
"Oh she is"
My heart skipped a beat as I let of a laugh
"She's very smart. In fact i've been needing to remind you to thank me for being your training partner"
