Chapter 16

"HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW?" ANDREW ASKED ME when he finally dipped my head out of the water and I took a giant breath in
"Huh? After all you did running. How do you feel?" I sobbed only stopping when he plunged my head under the water again. He had been doing this for ages now. He was more mad than I could've ever expected him to be

The pressure in my head burned and just as I went to take a deep breath his hand gripping my hair lifted me up

"Come here" I whimpered as he picked me up and threw me somewhere on the floor

I didn't even know where I was. It was some sort of warehouse but I had no idea where

I could smell some chemicals, either the sulfur or even just other car parts

"I've been waiting for this moment for years" he walked over to me and lifted his boot up, hitting my ribs as a loud scream left my lips

"Please" I cried out. My ribs were definitely bruised, maybe even broken

I was going to die just like mom

"Please stop" his boot connected with me again, this time hitting both my ribs and stomach

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" I sobbed raising my hands to protect my face

"Stop fucking begging" he sneered as he knelt down to my level
"You've been asking for this" he raised his hand up, his other gripping onto my sweater and he connected his fist with my cheek

— THIRD PERSON POV

THE BAU TEAM HAS BARELY LEFT THE BUILDING in 3 days. 3 days of not finding Anastasia. For the life of them they couldn't figure out where she was

"Dawner Drole" Spencer whispered to himself before he jumped up and rushed to the board drawing out the words

DAWNER DROLE
ANDREW ELROD

"I think I found him" everyone turned to Spencer hoping he was right
"Garcia. Get up someone called Dawner Drole"

"Dawner drole.. he's 45, owns a mechanical shop just 2 miles away"

JJ: "That's probably why he has so much time to stalk Anastasia, because he runs the business"

"Garcia, what's the address?"

"It seems he lives and works in the same place. It's a warehouse downtown"

— ANASTASIA'S POV

I could barely keep my eyes open anymore. I had passed out too many times from pain but it seemed Andrew never stooped

He had only left twice in the past few days giving me a few hours of sleep but even when I woke up I wished I didn't
