Its has been a year and a couple months since I met Chris. A couple months ago we began to do what I believe was flirting. It must be the spring weather thats causing pollen floating around but romance was in the air.
Everyone has been getting a little something something going on. Well except Desirée. She get her joy from watching others bask in love or infatuation. Except her ex-boyfriend a his girlfriend playing under the table. I tried to ask her thought on the matter but she would change the subject.
"Soo what are you going to give Nadia", Desirée cooed as she peeked over Rayshawn's shoulder.
"A card and some expensive chocolate", he replied. Rayshawn has just became a important addition to our group of friends. We always take his side when Nadia is acting like a bitch when it comes down to his feelings.
If it was me she wouldn't get shit from me. It need to be mutual.
"What are you going to give Chris,Nudge?".
"Nothing but a hello", I replied. My phone vibrated in my hands and I glanced down.
"Is that him?", Nadia asked when she finally looked up from her phone.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance and sighed.
"No it was my mother". She didn't reply but went back to her phone. Desiree raised a eyebrow and turned to pester Michael and his new girlfriend.
Why is she even bother with them. Its not like she even like them. Rae don't say anything to us when Michael leaves. She fiddles on that ugly ass iPod.
"Look here come, teeth", Rayshawn mumbled and Desirée laughed as quietly as she could. Which is a the normal volume a person laughing loudly.
"Hey guys", Chris said cheerfully.
Teeth. Who is Teeth?
Chris?
I didn't get much time to ponder this because Chris had places his head on my breast in the middle of our hug. I laughed at the gentle pressure he applied.
Desirée castes her eyes down as she grabbed Rayshawn and Nadia leaving mumbling something about being a wing women .
I wrapped my arm around Chris's slender frame. I wrapped myself in euphoria not realizing shit was to hit the fan and soon. And everybody will be splattered in shit.
