Chapter 26

I woke up, my phone was buzzing. I looked at the lock screen.

Todd-watch your back, I'll be picking you up at 4 ;)

I got up from my bed & nudged Andrea. She groaned & I shook her. She slapped my arm.

"Andrea!" I screamed.

"What?!" She yawned.

"I have to go on a date so you can go to Naomi's & have more clothes mania"

"AWWWW! A date! Congrats girl, I thought you would be like the worlds cat lady, since you never had a date but here you are going out with someone" she rambled. As I took that in I gave her a look.

"Did you just describe me as a worlds cat lady"

"No" she mumbled. "But I'll totes go to Naomi's! I haven't seen the whole closet yet!"

"Okay here you call her" she nodded. "I'll be right I have to go to the bathroom" I looked at her & she was busy talking in the phone.

I walked to the bathroom but I forgot there was no tooth paste in mine. Ugh I have to go done stairs. Making my way downstairs I saw Xavier.

"What time is it?" He asked.

"2:00pm, have you see any toothpaste cause I don't have any in my bathroom"

"Yea just get a new one from the pantry" I nodded.

"So, the double date is at 4" he said.

"Yup" I said. "Who are you bringing?"

"It's a surprise" I gotten the toothpaste & walked to go brush my teeth. Wait.. Why is it a surprise?

"Xavier! Why is it surprise? Do I know her?"

"Listen I gotta go" he brushed past me. Well then...

Xavier's POV
I couldn't tell her I'm bringing Rachel Kars. I went outside to the gym when I noticed a man standing right outside my house, why the hell is he pretending to pick up a coin.

"Hey! Who the hell are you!" I growled. The guy ran away, I chess after him. This guy runs like a deer. I sprinted & lunged at him. I was about to punch him. "Who the hell are you!"

He grinned. "I can't say or I'll get killed. My boss won't like that Xavier"

"Fvcking hell!"

"Now now, don't be like this, I'm sure your peers at the double date would question why is there a black eye & who did it"

"I'll call the cops, after I smash your face in the pavement" just then I his fist connects with my face.

"Twerps I don't like when I'm being harassed" he shoved me off & ran away. I saw a gun & a few drugs fell out of his pocket. Todd. He must of work for him. He hired him to watch me, or Grace? Ugh I have to go pick up Rachel. She's hot & all but she ain't my type.

It was almost 4, I was in my leggings & a floral top. I added a bow to the side of my hair. Andrea & Naomi was hanging out together. I was happy that there becoming friends. The door bell rang & it was Todd. I frowned & he just grabbed my hand leading me.

"Todd your hurting my wrist" I winced.

"Sorry, I had a bad day. Oh & you look hot today" he said.

"Uh thanks"

"I know that you know, so if I were you I keep my mouth shut. If you tell anyone I'll do something that I won't regret it" he hissed. I nodded. I'm so terrified, a tear slid down. "Don't cry, we don't want people seeing you cry, I don't want the people to know when we go in the diner"
