CHAPTER THREE

When Isaac had asked for the bite, he thought things would get easier. Instead he sat in a rickety looking place while swinging his legs, glaring at nothing in particular. "Well this sucks," he muttered, his head tilting to the side when he heard heels clicking against the floor. His shoulders seemed to sag as he turned his head, blue eyes searching for the source.
"Lorey!" Hopping off from the barrel he was sitting on, the teen smiled towards the woman as she approached with leftovers. Ever since his change, she had been bringing leftovers out to him while he was stuck in hiding.
"Hey sweetie," she said with a smile before handing over the tupperware and fork. "It should still be warm enough. Hope you like Alfredo." Isaac sent her a grateful smile before taking a seat on the couch and crossed his legs, getting comfy enough to eat. Glancing over, she offered a smile towards the Alpha as he walked around the corner, making his way towards them. Turning, she left the teen before approaching Derek. "Hey you."
"You brought him food again?"
"I did. Figured a home cooked meal would help instead of constantly getting him fast food," she reasoned while glancing back at Isaac. "How's his training going?"
Derek watched her for a moment before nodding. "It's going. He's learning the basics fairly fast, which is good. I have another I'm going to offer the bite, but didn't want to leave him here alone."
"Mm... Are you asking me to stay?" she questioned, looking up at him with a smirk. Green eyes looked her over with a coy grin.
"Will you?"
"Will I...what, Derek?" she teased, taking a step closer to him and placing a hand against his chest. He reached up, grabbing onto her wrist and yanking her in even closer so he could whisper.
His lips brushed her ear, "will you be good and stay with him... please?"
A coy grin stretched over her lips as she pulled back, brushing her nose against the Alpha's. "Only because you said please," she teases with a wink. Derek smirked down at her before releasing.
"I'll be back shortly," he reassured and then turned, heading out and leaving Lorelei with a freshly turned werewolf. Spinning on her heel, Lore made her way on over to the barrel and pulled herself up to sit. Isaac was watching her between bites, curiosity on his face.
"He trusts you," Isaac mumbled after swallowing the food down.
