Actions have Consequences {haikaveh/Kavetham}

Chapter 32

I currently got flu b, and the medication im on makes me sleepy and i can barely function, next chapter may be a little late.

The next morning kaveh woke up alone in bed, even mehrak wasn't with him. He rolled over and looked at the time on his phone, he slept in that's why he was alone. He raised up, stretched, then got up to find Alhaitham.

As kaveh was walking down the stairs the smell of coffee hit him, yum. He entered the living room and spotted Alhaitham sitting on the couch with book in one hand and the other petting mehrak sitting in his lap. Kaveh snuck up behind him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders to only reach for the coffee cup on the table, he brought the cup up to his lips and downed it right in front of Alhaitham's eyes then sat it back down.

Alhaitham let out a hmph and glared at Kaveh before turning to look into the kitchen where Faranak and her husband was making themselves a cup of coffee too. And what did Alhaitham do in return? Told mom.

"Faranak, Kaveh drunk my coffee!"

Kaveh gasped, so thats how it was going to be. Faranak walked into the room with her arms crossed, waiting for an explanation.

"Hey! I only did because he drunk mine the other morning!" Kaveh defended himself.

Faranak looked at the each of them, she playfully rolled her eyes and turned around. "I will make you both a cup." She said while walking into the kitchen.

Kaveh walked around the couch and sat down beside of alhaitham, he felt oddly energetic this morning and started bothering Alhaitham by playfully poking his leg. Alhaitham just ignored him and went back to reading his book, kaveh should stop at some point. He also shouldn't need a second cup of coffee either.

After a minute of being poked, Alhaitham sighed and put the book down. He looked over to kaveh and held the hand that was poking him, he brought kaveh's hand up and kissed it before letting go.

"Stop poking me, what do you want?"

Kaveh smiled and grabbed back Alhaitham's hand again. "Let's go to the beach today."

Ah, so that's why he's energetic this morning. As much as Alhaitham hates the feeling of sand already, and being almost naked under the sun for hours, the idea of Kaveh walking out of the water like one of those hot lifeguards from a movie was very enticing.

"Fine, but im bringing a book."

Kaveh groaned, "Come on, haitham. This is supposed to be a fun vacation with lots of fun activities, like going to the beach and having fun!"

"We have two different ideas of fun."

Faranak and her husband walked into the room and placed down two cups in front of the boys. "Oh! You boys going to the beach? How cute." She said and sat down across from them with her husband. "There's a wonderful spot underneath the aquaboat stream that goes to the opera epiclese." She explained.

Kaveh turned to Alhaitham, waiting on his suggestion, this time he just nodded, he already agreed to go. "You just woke up, eat and settle then we can go."

It ended up being two in the afternoon when they both were ready to go, kaveh was planning to stay at the beach most of the day and pack enough snacks for the both of them, which took most of the time up. As they were walking to the door to leave, mehrak ran up to them and sat down on kaveh's feet, he wanted to go too. And so kaveh had to get mehrak ready too.
