When Alhaitham and kaveh got back home from their vacation trip to Fontaine, they dropped everything off at their apartment complex then went out to give gifts to their friends.
And at then end of the day at sunset Alhaitham took Kaveh out to beautiful flower field picnic that he asked cyno and tighnari to set up and then follow them there secretly.
Kaveh was in awe, it was so beautiful. When he turned back around to ask Alhaitham when he had the time to set this up that's when he saw him down on one knee with a red leather box in hand.
Kaveh let out a surprised gasp as Alhaitham opened the box, it was a beautiful silver ring band with ruby stones that match Kaveh's eyes.
"Kaveh, I know I said i was going to wait, but when i saw this ring in fontaine and you dancing around the fact that you wanted it, I knew i had to do it." Alhaitham then sucked in a breath, his eyes started to water "I've loved you for the longest time I've remembered you, Kaveh, and i am happy that you gave me a chance after all that I have put you through, and before you change your mind about me. Will you marry me."
Kaveh started crying, he fell to his knees and threw himself at Alhaitham. "Of course i will, I would never change my mind."
And during the next spring break they got married.
And ten years later they are still happily together, married, got their dream jobs, and even ended up adopting a child with purple hair and red eyes like kaveh.
What Alhaitham thought was unachievable and a dream to him, came true. He fulfilled his grandmother's wish and ended up with more then a good and peaceful life.
Oh, he accidentally zoned out again while watching the three play on the floor of his house.
Kaveh was looking up at alhaitham with his arms crossed, he's hardly seen the man today. "Stop ignoring me will you? Join us." He pointed to the five year old purple haired child sitting beside him, tapping his shoulder with a book.
Alhaitham chuckled and sat down in the floor with them, mehrak came up and laid down in kaveh's lap. Alhaitham looked back over and kaveh was still being tapped by the book.
"Veritas, stop hitting papa with a book." He said and took the book out of the child's hands.
Veritas turned around quickly, now facing alhaitham. "He said some of the most idiotic words I've ever heard in my life before you walked in." For a five year old he is very illiterate, that was Alhaitham's fault.
Kaveh huffed and looked towards alhaitham, "Your no longer teaching him."
Yeah, he regrets nothing about his life, he's glad he can spend it with with the ones he loves.
