Chapter 29

Ive had the next few chapters wrote out since 4.0 and saved thankfully

A certain character (fischl) does have two different color eyes because I couldn't choose between her original style or event style so both styles.

Like Kaveh wanted, and happened to forget, Alhaitham booked them a trip to fontaine for a week before school starts back. He had this booked since kaveh went to the desert.

Kaveh stood up, he was relieved that he was done packing his bags for the week. He picked up his suitcases and walked out of his room to place his bags by the door. Alhaitham also came out of his use to be room, but instead of 3 fully packed suitcases like Kaveh had, he had a backpack and a suitcase that was half the size of kaveh's.

Alhaitham started kaveh up and down, "Don't you think that too much?" He asked, pointing to the heavy suitcases on the floor.

Kaveh shook his head and picked one up with only a little struggle, "Of course not, I got everything I needed for a week." He said and patted one.

"This is obviously too much, kaveh. You get mehrak ready and I will fix your luggage." Alhaitham placed his bags on the table and said.

Kaveh rolled his eyes and handed the suitcase over to alhaitham before walking away to put mehrak in his carrier. Alhaitham sat the suitcase on the table and started to take out the unnecessary things that Kaveh doesn't need.

As kaveh came back with mehrak in his carrier he about yelled when he saw his shampo, conditioner, and face products laying on the table. He gently placed the carrier down and ran over to alhaitham.

"I need my shampoo! And my-"

Alhaitham held back his words and went for calming kaveh down first. He doesn't want to argue before a trip and ruin the mood for the rest of it. He brought one hand up to kaveh's cheek and cupped it, making kaveh be quiet. "Kaveh, dear, calm down. We are going on a week long trip, you can last a week without all this stuff." He said, earning a huff from kaveh.

"You better not complain about me getting pimples then. Or frizzy hair from the hotel shampoos!" Kaveh said while crossing his arms.

Alhaitham smiled at kaveh being so understanding and kissed him. "You're beautiful with or without all this product." He said and continued on getting the useless things out of kaveh's suitcase.

Once both was happy with everything that had they went off on their way to the boat port. The two of them sat in the Uber not saying anything, but the closer they got to the port the more anxious Kaveh became, when they thought about this trip he had completely forgotten about his mom being in Fontaine. He started to bounce his leg up and down and Alhaitham noticed, he placed a hand on his thigh and started to rub it. It helped kaveh and he calmed down a little.

"What's wrong?" Alhaitham asked.

"What if we run into my mom? What do I say then? What if she doesn't want to see me? What if she invites us over and her husband doesn't like us? What if they don't like you?" Kaveh wanted to say more, but knew that it would go on forever.

Alhaitham gave a small comforting smile, "You're going to be fine, those are problems for the future. And I couldn't care what they think of me." He's not the best person at comforting but he tries and that's what matters.

Kaveh nodded and stared down at the carpet of the car. He knew alhaitham was right and tried his best to not think of those possibilities, but he ended up falling asleep on alhaitham's shoulder.

Not long after falling asleep alhaitham shook Kaveh awake, Kaveh raised up and looked out the window and saw they were at the port to get to Fontaine. Alhaitham help kaveh out of the Uber and got their luggage, and the two went off to find the Romaritime Harbor. Once they found the place they had to be at the aquabus had already left so they had to sit an hour for it to return.
