chapter -23(Bold Riva)

Next day , when everyone was having breakfast . Kartik announced," I am going to rishikesh today , my friends are calling me."

" Papa ,it's so soon . You just came back and you are now going again ," Juhi complained.

" Beta , I have to go.. well I will try to come back soon ," Kartik reassured his daughter . Although adopted Juhi is loved by him like a real father . She is important to both Kartik and Rudraksh. She was his biological niece . When she was 12 her parents , his brother and his sister in law died in car accident after this he adopted her and loved her like his real daughter .

Kartik left for Rishikesh . Now it's Juhi 's chance . In the afternoon she called Riva (Riva was at her office). She told her that she was calling her friends for a kitty party in the evening and asked Riva to cook some snacks for them . Riva agreed thinking that she can do this after all she is their daughter in law.

In evening she left early to prepare . When she got home , Juhi told her that Ravina went with Aashi to meet their family doctor and all the servants are on leave . Riva asked ," why did all servants went on leave together."

" Because I asked them . Since you are here , I think you can handle things afterall you are daughter in law of this house , or your parents had just taught you how to run office but forget to teach you how to manage home," Juhi didn't hide anything and mocked her.

" No , I can manage buaji ," Riva said.

Riva went inside the kitchen and started cooking some snacks . She was not habitual of cooking . Even at the apartment , Armaan is the one who use to cook for her therefore she got several burns . Juhi had given her a list of snacks to prepare and they were not so easy to cook . Riva understood that Juhi is doing everything purposely but even though she wanted to show that Riva Kapoor is an all rounder . She doesn't wanted to give Juhi any chance to mock her or her family. She cooked each item almost perfectly by watching recipes on you tube .

Juhi friends came . Juhi called Riva to serve them . Riva was wearing apron and she was looking quite messy ,drenched in sweat after all that hardwork . She served the snacks . Then Juhi asked her to bring tea for them . Riva went inside the kitchen to make tea . When she was coming back she heard , one of the Juhi 's friend said," wow , Juhi .. you had such a great maid . "

Juhi just smiled on her comment but this comment made Riva very angry . She silently served the tea . Juhi then asked her to bring some tissues . Riva smiled , she went into the kitchen but instead of taking tissues , she sneaked towards her room and changed her clothes . She wore a red saree and wore the jwellery given by her mother in law . She applied a little makeup and left her hairs open . Then she took some tissues with her and went to the living room where Juhi was sitting with her friends .

Juhi was badmouthing her for taking so much time for bringing tissues . Suddenly her friends saw Riva . She were very shocked . Riva kept the tissues on the table and said," sorry , actually I was so busy preparing snacks that I forgot to get changed . Afterall I am singhania's daughter in law , I can represent myself so badly in front of elders right . Pardon me for not managing my time well . Actually this is the first time I cooked so many dishes without any help . In Kapoor house their are lot of maids and being a Kapoor's daughter I hardly do any work so I am not accustomed to it ."

All of the Juhi 's friends got so shocked that they just kept looking at Juhi . They couldn't believe that their friend lied about such thing . Riva excused herself from them by saying that she is getting call from her office and being president she can't ignore . Riva hide herself behind a pillar to hear their conversation .

Juhi 's friend Salini oberoi said," why did you lie to us ? you have such a good and beautiful daughter in law . She is not only good at cooking but also is president of D.S group . She is a rich kid ,yet so humble . I can't believe you made us think that she is a maid ."

All her friends critized Juhi and then went away. Juhi was so angry at Riva. She went inside her room .

Riva was sitting on the sofa reading a magazine. Juhi stomped and said ," you did it deliberately, right?"

"What did I do?" Riva asked innocently .

" Changing into this saree and wearing these heaving jwellery and..." Juhi was saying something but Riva interrupted," so what , I think Sighania's daughter in law should look like this . Right buaji?"
Then Riva gave her a sweet smile .

Juhi was so pissed but she didn't said anything further she just went outside the room sulking.
