chapter-24(Armaan took Riva's side)

After Juhi left , Riva took a deep breath . She was so happy that she called Siya and told her everything that has happened . Siya said," well done Ri, it's just like you but I still want to see Juhi bua's pissed face . It's sad I wasn't there ."

" We will get more chances because as I can say buaji will not stay quiet. She is like those T.V vamps ," Riva was making fun of Juhi .

" Who is like T.V vamps?" Armaan asked while entering the room .

Riva got startled , she immediately cut the call. She looked at her husband who was looking surprised. She answered," I was ...talking ...talking about T.V .. yes there is a show about which Siya was telling me . The participants their are acting like T.V vamps." She said in one breathe.

" You guys were talking about T.V shows," Armaan said unbelievably.

"We talk about many things , do I need to report you?" , Riva said faking an anger.

" No..no.. don't get angry , well you look stunning in that saree," Armaan said changing the topic.

Riva start blushing while Armaan went inside the bathroom to get changed. Then they went downstairs to eat dinner . Riva had removed jwellery but was still wearing the saree. Seeing her in saree Ravina who just came back with Aashi asked ," why are you wearing saree , I mean you look pretty but don't you like to wear jeans , beta , in our house you don't need to do these formalities."

" Mom , I am wearing saree because Juhi bua's friends came and I thought I should look presentable like Sighania's daughter in law so I wore it ," Riva answered looking at Juhi who was quietly eating her dinner .

" Your friends came ? " Ravina asked Juhi.

" Yeah , any issues?," Juhi was now frustrated.

" No , I didn't mean that .. well Riva you did good beta , now let's eat . I ordered food today as all servants went on leave , " Ravina explained.

Armaan was listening to everything quietly , after coming back to the room he looked at Riva and asked," is your T.V vamp is bua?"

Riva took her PJs and smiled," doesn't matter , it's just T.V vamps can never defeat heroine."

She was heading towards bathroom , when Armaan held her from her waist and pulled her towards him . Her back met his chest . He wishpered in her ears," sorry wifey, if you want we can move back to apartment."

Riva looked at Armaan and said ," Riva Kapoor Sighania never runs."

Hearing this Armaan felt like somebody has given him all the happiness in the world . His eyes filled with tear of joy. The girl who always said ," I hate you " was ready to put his surname after her name . This was a huge progress in their relationship . Suddenly he realised that Riva freed herself from his grip and went inside the bathroom. He storke his hairs and laid on the bed . After sometime his wife lie beside him and he ,like usual embraced her and slept.

The next day, Ravina called Riva and she said, " why did you embarassed Juhi di? Beta , no matter what she is your elder and you should respect her. You shouldn't have make fun of her in front of her friends."

" But ma.." Riva was trying to explain.

" No beta , it is wrong , you are Sighania's daughter in law not Kapoor's daughter you should act like a daughter in law," Ravina refused to listen .

" Enough mom, she won't bear this like you did ," Armaan interrupted , he just came there . " Mom you also know how bua is so please don't expect my wife to bear everything she does and I trust Riva , she will only do something when she was provoked by others ," Armaan continued.

" But.. beta .. I was just.." Ravina wanted to say something but Armaan said ," you just wanted to save relations and you are doing this for years . You tolerate everything they do but please for God say , Riva don't deserve it and she doesn't need to tolerate this nonsense so she won't... and it's final."

Armaan took Riva's hand and went into their room .
Riva was happy that her husband took her side .

In the room, Armaan said," don't ever tolerate anything wrong and never hesitate to take actions against them . I will be always on your side."
