chapter -26(lost)

After sometime Riva stepped aside . She turned around and while looking at cars said," now we can only book a taxi."

Armaan smiled and said "yeah," he was about to hold her but suddenly he felt a sharp pain and screamed," ouch!!!"
Riva immediately looked at his arms. His arms were red . She asked what happened , he said that after the last hit airbag got opened and he got this minor injury from it .

Riva started beating Armaan gently and cried saying," I told you it's dangerous , you could get hurt ." Her eyes were full of tears .

Armaan smiled and said," I will surely get hurt if you beat me like this ."

Riva stopped beating him and said in her angry voice ," I hate you Mr. Sighania." She turned back wiping her tears .

Armaan pulled her in front of him and wishpered," I am fine wifey."

Then they took the taxi for the restaurant . They ate silently, for the whole time Riva was not speaking anything no matter how hard Armaan tries to talk with her .

After they completed the dinner , they went outside the restaurant , Armaan saw an old lady selling roses . He bought one from her and gave it to Riva," Ri, don't get angry , please ."

" No Armaan , you are not understanding , if something happened to you how will I ..." Riva stopped in middle .

" And if something happened to you then... ? " Armaan looked into her eyes . Seeing that his wife is not replying , he hugged her and said," let's not talk about it ."

They went to an icecream shop and had icecream . They talked and teased each other . They roam around while holding each other's hands . It was near 12 when they came back . Riva thought Armaan would do something but he didn't. They just slept holding each other .

Next day ,when Riva woke up Armaan was not there . He left a note on the side table ," GET READY WIFEY . TODAY I WILL PICK YOU AT 6:00 FROM YOUR OFFICE. WE ARE GOING ON ANOTHER DATE."

Riva smiled at the note . She spent her whole day restlessly waiting for Armaan . In the night she was waiting in the front of her company . She saw Armaan parking his car on the other side of the road . He opened his car door . She came running towards him . Suddenly a car in full speed came towards Riva . Riva got shocked seeing the car . She closed her eyes . Suddenly she felt someone pushed her . She got some minor injuries. When she opened her eyes she saw her husband lying still in the pool of blood . She screamed , "Armaan !!!!"
She immediately went near him and called ambulance .

In the whole journey , her heart was racing . After coming in city hospital , she called Reyansh . She told him everything . She was still crying . Reyansh asked her to wait for him .

After half an hour, Juhi , Rudraksh , Ravina , Aashi and Reyansh all came to hospital . Reyansh informed them . Juhi in anger asked Riva ", How did it happened?".

Riva told them everything . Juhi start blaming her , just then doctor came out of O.T he informed," Mr. Sighania is critical , we immediately need to perform an operation on him and he might lend into coma , so you have to be prepared."

Ravina ,on hearing this collapsed and Riva stood still in shock . She broke down and started crying loudly . Aashi and Juhi took Ravina into another room while Reyansh consoled Riva . A nurse came near her and did her first aid . She was not saying anything , she was just crying. Rudraksh went to call some experts . Although he was a rude businessman but he loves his son.

Riva went to the mandir in the hospital, she was so broken that nobody can console her . Siya and Raghu also came after hearing the news . Riva sat near the mandir and start praying . Siya was near her . Raghu was outside the O.T .

Operation continued for three hours . Rudraksh has arranged best doctors for his son . Rani and Rajveer also came to see them . They tried to make Riva eat something but she was just sitting in front of the mandir and was praying . She refused to take rest .

Doctors came outside the O.T and announced ," Patient is out of danger , but as for his condition we can only inform you after he wake up."

Everyone sighs in relief .

After 24 hours , Armaan woke up . Riva was sitting behind him on a chair . All his family members were waiting outside . He saw his and asked ," Are you okay , you didn't got hurt ,Right?"

Riva looked at this man who was still worried about her even in this state . Her eyes were swollen from all that crying . She looked at him with her red , tearful eyes and said, " I am not fine but it's not my body that is paining ,it's my heart by seeing you in this condition . I hate you Armaan , you made me cry so badly . I hate you ." Then she started crying.

Armaan gave her a smile, hugged her and said ," Okay ,you can hate me wifey but stop crying ."

Riva wipped her tears and called doctors , doctors checked on Armaan . Then they asked him ," Can you feel your legs ?"

Armaan moved his attention towards it . Till now he was just thinking about his wife , she was looking like a crying mess . After he shifted his attention he realised that he can't feel his legs . He panicked," No, I can't . I can't feel my legs .." he was screaming . Everybody was shocked .

Riva tried to console him but he begin to push her . He was getting out of control . It was a huge shock for him . The doctor gave him an injection to calm him down . He went to sleep.

Doctor informed them," His legs are paralyzed."
