Yesterday, was the day I came out of the hospital. My parents insisted that I stay home this week, so I do.  I slowly open my eyes, the soft morning light casting a warm glow in my room. I take a deep breath, savoring the tranquility of the moment. Today is my first day out of the hospital after the car accident and the incident with Connor. Since that day, I can't stop thinking about him and how guilty I feel for sending him away. But anyway, I decided to make it a day of healing and self-care.

With a gentle stretch, I swing my legs over the side of the bed and stand up, feeling a slight twinge of soreness. I make my way to the bathroom, where I splash some cool water on my face, washing away the remnants of sleep.

As I walk into the kitchen, I notice the beautiful bouquet of flowers on the counter. My parents must've brought them here. With a cup of steaming herbal tea in hand, I make my way to the living room, settling into my favourite armchair. I wrap myself in a cozy blanket, feeling it's warmth embrace me. It's a perfect setting for a day of relaxation.

After a while, I decide to indulge in a little pampering, so I transform my bathroom into a personal space. I fill the air with a soothing scent of lavender, lit some candles and dim the lights to create a serene ambiance. I run a warm bath, adding fragrant bath salt that melts away the tension in my muscles. As I soak into the bath, I close my eyes and think about Connor again. Why did I do this to him? It was so rude of me, but on the other side I didn't know...

After the relaxing bath, i wrap myself in a plush robe and settle onto my bed, a stack of favourite books by my side. As the day slowly turns into evening, I feel a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. This day of recovery helped me much.
