She took those chocolates I bought for her while in the morning when I went out with Cedric for an meet up.
Its already 11 and I'm late for work.
I could see in my car's mirror her house getting smaller and tiny every min.

I thought she would reject my chocolates at instance but she has a warm side , she's filled with innocence and needs to be protected from the world she's living in.

My heart would ache for her daily if she really lost her dog.

Honestly the one I really want to protect could be her.

I WAS still lost in thoughts of her whereas I should he focusing on the road.
It's been hours since we met, yet me, expecting somehow to meet her.

I know I'm driving so fast but I'm way too late for work, others would be really waiting for me.

I saw my phone winking from the mirror.

"Shit !" I groaned again. I took my phone from the seat and saw missed calls from Casper.
quickly dialled his number only to hear this.

" Jeff I'm sorry... Mr Stewart and their company ....Jeff I need you here in a minute they are with bullets and guns and...I can't ..I can't defend others a lot ..Jeff..hurry up... ʸᵒᵘ ˡᵒᵒᵏ ˢᵒ ᶠⁱⁿᵉ .ˡᵒᵒᵏ ᵃᵗ ʸᵒᵘ ᵇᵃᵇʸ"

I heard Casper crying from the other side and a random female squeaking. I couldn't understand what was going around over there, all I'm hearing on this call is him crying over I dont know.

where the fuck he is.

" Casper listen ......listen buddy...listen...what's wrong exactly what's going on there ?" drunkard!.

I asked him with a calm and serious tone.
" They've held hostage of all the female staff in the canteen area , There are more than 100 people . The building is literally looking like it's sealed by guards like cellotapes.

I was listening kneen when he stopped and he started speaking mores slow and low

" Ada...ada

Did he just called me dumb? What's evengoing on ..And he abruptly stopped..
" ridiculous" ...I slammed my phone on the backseat so hard it fell down.
My mind had weird thoughts.

And I realised one thing .

I CHECKED MY phone .

Damnn...so finally today is the day ...

I entered the building...took my car keys with me. And took my coat acting all calm and cool .

Approached towards the entrance,scanned my card for identification and entered the first ground level hall the entrance where everything was looking normal except the staff they are dressed different from what they used to wear.

So? All the females aren't really in the canteen.

"Casper I caught you bish" I mumbled.

soon in the lift and went up to my floor . Everything looked normal it was not at all like what Casper told me .
They thought I forgot .

I waited and went up to my cabin. I kept walking and even around there's noone. I see nobody...as I walk passby the infirmery area..I called for the nurse who used to be there...
" Mrs woods?"
I even went inside to check but yet no one was there.
I went running towards my cabin. I immediately scanned and opened the door yet total silence there except Bella, my cat. I took her in my arms and patted her.

" Bella You all okay? ..why did those dickhead didn't took you ..you are the most precious thing here, can't even compare you with the females .You are the best."

Lord thanks those made up story crooks left Bella .

I wore my coat and buttoned up leaving 3 open .

" The CEO needs to look the best everytime even infront of 'em imma be bossy right Bella? "
I know I'm such a fool who's wasting time on grooming myself and having convo with a
cat who can't even speak but Bella can express her thoughts. That's why she's my favorite. I looked for my phone
" Holy shit my device "

I quickly took my car keys and was about to leave but came back
" Can't forget you my girl"

I took Bella in one hand and on the other my keys and made my way all down from the lift to ground floor again to get out and get , my phone with me. Who can imagine a CEO would be running with an cat for his phone.
I know I'm such a careless person.
I quickly took my steps out from the building and made my way towards the car. I opened the door and checked for my phone . I remember throwin it back somewhere. I found it
" You were hiding from me? "
My hands got a good grip of Bella too,
Bella was still sitting quietly on my left arm . Keys in the pocket and my phone in right hand. I can see Krisa's missed calls. I dialled her number and called her.

She received it in a minute.

" Hey Joseph! " She squealed with excitement.
Is that her first time calling any men? Woah...
" I could see excitement "

I replied . She giggled from the other side.

Oh even her giggles are fillin me with electric waves.
So? This is love???
At first sight??

Loving the person who was looking as if wrecked yet ! Love at first sight?

" I'm in a party and I had no one to talk to so I thought I could with you"
I was still walking upto the main canteen area.I don't care seeing Casper right now I just want to know what's happening in the canteen area.
Casper is watching over us.
Buddy think he can fool me better.

Krisa was still on the line describing how she is with her mother to a random party she don't know.

It's been just three or four hours since  I was with her.

Her father is one of those famous chef and is currently in Australia. Whereas her mother ,I'm sorry her annoying mother is with her , Our city's famous cake shops's owner.
I asked her where she exactly is , cause whatever she is describing seems like our canteen area.

But I can't assume people are partying with bullets on their temples. I told her to describe me more
" We're waiting for somebody , he owns this all and as per others he is an handsome Chad people say he owns many companies and is a billionaire's kid."

"Sounds like a king coming for his throne"

I said cause maybe now I know , why people are enjoying bullets on their temple.

" Hell yeah...if that king is coming here for his throne. He must need a queen too. I'll show him my signs. "

" Oh why not ? " She giggled.

" He's right behind that door and sort of people are excited and yeah his father too " ,She seemed confused and very curious .

" Why don't you get prepared too? "
I said.
As soon as I was about to stop for the doors.

They opened wide revealing the answers for her questions.

I was surrounded by millions of people I don't know myself how they'd fit in there looks like a Party. I can see everyone even? Casper oh..so this was a prank call..

The phonecall ended and I was about to go further realizing a figure stood right infront.
