As usual, the trio of friends, Chiaki, Hajime and Nagito always spent time together. But since Hajime and Nagito had started dating, they didn't have many dates.

It was a crisp autumn afternoon, and an icy wind was blowing through the air, while the sun was setting. It was a day that Nagito would spend with Chiaki as a caregiver, since Hajime would be at an appointment and the girl needed to regress.

As usual, as soon as Chiaki regressed, her caregiver would take away the child's video games, he was somewhat strict about screens, but it was never a big tantrum to take away the games, but this day was different.

Chiaki grumbled and crossed her arms, pouting, because Nagito had taken the video games away from her. The caregiver was surprised, because the little girl was never one to be so grumpy. Nagito did everything to calm her down.

"Chi, you are never one to fight with me, did something happen? You know that small children like you can't play video games, it's bad for them"- Nagito says

Despite the sweet and calm voice of the elder, it was not possible to calm the little girl. By a brief idea, Nagito took the smaller girl's stuffed kitten, which was always a tranquilizer in moments of crisis. By an incredible surprise, when he offered the plush, the girl threw it to the side.

"This was totally strange, not even accepting the kitten, she accepted it. What is the reason for such a bad mood?"- Thought the caregiver, who was trying to unravel the mystery of this bad mood.

Time passed, and any attempt by Nagito was a failure. Chiaki would not accept anything that came from the caregiver. Until one moment, the younger girl angrily came up to his room. Nagito would follow, but it would be worse. So, in worried desperation, he sat at the top of the stairs, waiting for the minor to calm down or for Hajime to arrive. Probably half an hour had passed, but nothing from the little one. But, Hajime had called.

"Nagito? Everything okay over there?"- Hajime worried, Nagito sounded gloomy.

"Chiaki seems quite upset with me. She refused anything that came from me. I am a terrible caregiver"- said Nagito

"Nagi, babe, you know that's a lie. Chiaki loves you very much, it's probably just a tantrum"- Hajime was trying to calm her boyfriend down.

"She's in her room, with the door closed. I've tried to get in and she won't let me in"- Nagito said, while looking crestfallen.

"It's okay love, you're doing your best. I'm coming, as soon as I get there I'll try to see what happened. See you in a bit Nagi"- Hajime said, and then hung up.

It took another ten minutes before Hajime arrived. He was carrying some groceries from the market. Nagito helped him unload the groceries. They kissed and Hajime went up to Chiaki's room.
Before entering, he knocked on the door and communicated that he was going in.

"Chi? What's wrong? She got mad all of a sudden at Nagito"- Hajime said.

The girl was sitting beside the bed. Apparently quite upset. Hajime sat down next to the girl, to talk.

"Chi, what's the reason you're so angry?"- Hajime asked.

"You since you started dating Nagito, you don't stay with me anymore"- Chiaki said, with some tears streaming down her delicate face.

"Ah my love, you know I like you, Nagi and I are dating, we have a different bond, but nothing will make ours less special"- Hajime said to Chiaki, running his finger through one of her tears.

"But because of Nagi, we never got together again, you only care about him! You don't care about me anymore"- Chiaki's tears welled up, as she said.

"Honey, it's not because we don't meet like we always do, that I don't like you. I understand your frustration, it's a nagging thing that sticks in your mind. But, you will always be my duo, always the player in the moves. I promise that Nagi doesn't want to hurt you, he loves you very much! We're just a little busy, but we promise we won't leave you anymore, all right?"- As he finished, Hajime pulled the smaller girl into a hug.

The two stood there for a while, until Chiaki calmed down. Chiaki was holding tightly one of two stuffed animals, which Hajime had given her, in a bug claw machine. Noticing that the little one had calmed down, Hajime convinced Chiaki to go talk to Nagito.

"Little one, shall we go talk to Nagi? He felt bad seeing you hurt with him, shall we?"- Hajime understood the hand to the little girl.

They both went to the dining room, where Nagito was reading. Chiaki looked nervous, but determined to apologize. Noticing that the two were on the scene, Nagito deposited his attention on them.

"N-Nagi, I wanted to apologize for throwing a tantrum with you, I didn't mean to make you sad. I was upset that you were stealing my place as Haji's duo, but now I understand that we are a trio!"- The smaller girl uttered the words to her caregiver, who gave a hearty laugh.

"Ah dear, tell me when something bothers you, okay? I was saddened by your behavior, but I understand that you were upset, but next time, let me know when you feel that way. I really like you, little one, you'll always be Haji's duo"- Nagito replied to the little girl.

Caregiver and the little one gave each other a very long hug, to show that they were well again. The rest of the evening was a lot of fun for the three of them. They had dinner together, drew, watched TV, played games, and then fell asleep on the couch.
