You never really knew what to get them. "We have everything we could ever want, now that we're with you y/n." Sun would say. Moon would nod in agreement from a dimly lit corner of your house. The day you brought them both home, was the best day of all your lives. Sun and Moon looked like confused cats for about an hour, exploring your house and everything within it. "What's this lead to?" Moon asked as he opened a door. It had some bunk beds a few nightlights and some space decorations, and multiple charging ports. "Your room." Moon and Sun gawked at how amazing it was. Sun thanked you relentlessly, while Moon examined each and every detail. "I thought I'd leave the rest of the decorating to you." You said. The day you brought them home, was Valentines day of last year and every year since then, Sun and Moon showered you with love and affection, bought you things you didn't need or really want. Just made mention to when walking by a store. You were lucky enough to talk them out of adopting you a cat and a dog when you walked past the pet store. Every year of every day, they'd show you how much they loved and cared. They cooked, cleaned, bought you things. You always offered to help, or get them stuff too, but they always said, "No." Or "It's ok, just relax y/n."
You couldn't. You WANTED to show affection to them too, but had no idea how.
You walked up to Sun who was telling Moon about his day, when you sheepishly held out two slightly crinkled hand drawn cards. "H-Happy Valentines day." You said. The two looked at each other, smiled and gently took the cards. "I-I saw some kids drawing Valentines cards and since I had no idea on what to get you guys, I made you these. I know it's kind of-" "These are adorable!" Sun bounced happily reading the card. "And so thoughtful." Moon chimed in. The cards looked different, but both held the same message. 'Sun, Moon, Life has been so much more fun since the two of you entered my life. It's like nothing I've ever felt before. If I had a way to describe it, It'd be like those lava lamps that bubble. I'm so glad I met you both, Happy Valentines day. I love you.'
