"Red Carpet"

"Listen here everyone! Let me brief one more time for the awards." The manager said.

I wanted to listen to what he's about to say but my eyes is really swollen after last night job. I need to make sure all the bodyguard that follow us to this awards know what they needed to do. I check with everyone what they need to do as I've chosen by the manager to make sure all the bodyguards know what to do when the time come. I told everyone about their job scope and where they need to secure.

There will be many people walk in and walk out the award ceremony. All eyes and ears need to appeal for what going to happen. I'm sure that I can do that as my only priority is only Sohee and no one else but I'm surely didn't know about what Sohee need to do. That's because I need to hear the manager's brief but my eyes is too heavy just to open. I fall asleep in the van while the manager's brief.

"Hey, yoomin. Were you asleep ?" A vague voice went into my head.

"Ya, yoomin. We're here." She half-shouted.

I open my eyes and literally, we have arrive at the entrance of the ceremony. The atmosphere is so crowded and so many people brought their big camera to take picture with so many artist that attend this ceremony. I fix my attire and my hair as it a bit messy after I fall asleep. I look at Sohee and she chuckles looking at me.

"What ?!" I said half-shouted.

"You hair looks funny." He chuckles.

"HAHA. Just like you hair. Here." I help her brush her left side of her hair backwards gently.

She stunned by my actions and just froze there looking at me. I just chuckles look at her getting stunned like that. After I get the job done, I pat her head and she make her sulky face. I just laugh it off. Then, I open the door right after the van stop and all the cameraman also interviewer rain down our van's door just to take picture and to interview her.

The media are also ran to Sohee to do their job. Sohee kept her professionalism and act like she's really enjoy the moment but she's once said that she didn't like to serve the media but for fans, she's can always be dying to meet one. She also stated that she really love and appreciated her own fans because she felt much love from them.

As usual, I make way for Sohee to walk straight to enter the main event. Sometimes she stop by for the media for an interview and sometimes she stop by to met her fans. All the things she take from the fans, needed to give to other bodyguard that follow us. She get too many gift until there's two bodyguard need to carry the things. I just shake my head but what can I do ? She enjoy taking all the gift. To be honest, I envy her cause she get a lot of attention but I do know that she has her own problem with the guy she love. Sohee I knew your boyfriend is not a good man. I can also protect you from that guy.

I saw that the red carpet in front of us is empty and maybe I can grab Sohee to run off from the red carpet straight to the main event inside. It's a chance for me to do it. I look around and still no one can enter the red carpet so, I grab her hand tight and give her warning before I run off.

"Sohee, I need you to keep up with me. I'll be run off the red carpet until we get inside, okay ?" I half-shout.

"W-wait, no. We need to-" I run off before she even finish her sentence.

I grab her hand tight so she need to keep up with my pace. I run off the red carpet until we get inside the ceremony. I didn't even look left or right when we're running, not even look at Sohee. Upon arriving inside, I stop my leg and my breath pant after the long run. When I'm about to look at Sohee, a hard slap land on my cheeks.
