"Old Friend"

The manager really glad that I brought her back to the hotel. I land her on the sofa at the hotel lobby and her manager come straight to her to ask that if she's alright or not. He check on her while I just try to straighten my back after long walk with Sohee on my back. I saw Uncle bear just got back from whenever he went to find Sohee with happy look on his face. He walk to me just to hug me tight cause I found Sohee and didn't get fired I suppose.

"I'm glad you found her, Yoomin-ah." He excitedly said.

"Yeah, ah. I'm beat, uncle." I throw myself on the sofa far from Sohee's.

"Where did you find her ?" He asked.

"At the park far from here, beside the lake. On the bridge." I said resting my head on the sofa.

"Good thinking, bro." He show a good sign.

I just smile to it but when I change my view to Sohee, my mind flashes when she cries in my arm. The way she tremble and her teary eyes. I really don't want to see that again but I love to see her in my arms. Wait what ? What am I saying ? Did I catch feeling with her ? No, no. She's just my job but what I said about the question she ask. I do feel the same way she did about the kiss. But maybe I do.

Sohee caught me staring at her and I swiftly move my eyes away from her. I notice she just smile cause I'm embarrass for what I did. Then, the manager walk over to me as he done checking up on Sohee, I stand up when he's getting closer. He first make an angry face but when he stand in front me, he pull my hand for a warm hug.

"I don't know what to say except to thank you. Sohee explain everything to me and it's not your fault anyways. " He whisper to my ears.

"Yeah, it's my job anyway, boss." I reply.

"I'm really grateful for what you did just now. I don't know if Sohee just went missing like that. I would lose my own job." He said holding my neck and look into my eyes.

"Yeah, me too." I mumbled.

"Cause you're the one that find her, I wouldn't be fired you. From now on, make sure you double check the security and her movement. I don't want anything like this happen again." He said sternly.

He release his hand from my neck and walk his way to Sohee and her stuff. He ask them to get back to their room and get some sleep cause tomorrow we got stuff to do. He then walk to the middle of us, bodyguard to gave a certain speech.

"I know that I've call you all cause there was emergency and thanks for your commitment and energy to go find Sohee this early in the morning. I appreciate you all and go get rest for tonight. We got job tomorrow." He conclude his talk then walk to the lift.

We're all clean up the place before leaving the lobby and some of them seems like they didn't satisfy with me. They kept glaring at me like they wanted to hit me or some but there's Uncle bear with me making me felt safe from them.

"Yeah, thanks for waking me up early in the morning, Yoomin." One of the bodyguard said that to me before leaving.

Some of them just hit their body to me purposely cause they felt troublesome by Sohee went missing. Like is it really my fault that Sohee wanted to go AWOL. It's not that I knew what she's going to do next. Maybe it's a bit my fault cause I didn't look at the message but we're all bodyguard and it's our job.
