"Day Off"

"A week off !? What a joke." I exclaim.

"Yeah, Sohee been busy for a whole straight 2 months and she request for a week rest. Besides, you're already did save her yesterday from the paparazzi but you better watch your action and your words from now on, Yoomin." Uncle Bear remind me of what happen last time.

"Look, all I did was to save her and I did my job as a bodyguard but all I get is a hard slap and a warning on my first day. Was that necessary ?" I explain.

"What's going on here ?" The manager breaking the tense situation.

"I was making my way through the crowd and suddenly he lift me up onto his shoulder and I lost my cute bear on my hand. Also, he humiliated me in front of the crowd because of his action. Now, the media and fans would say I try to run from them." She stated.

"Oh, you're only think about the media and fans but not yourself ? You should be glad I pulled you off from that tough crowd or you would be dead suffocated." I exclaim.

"You should worry about yourself and not just lift people up just because you wanted to, okay ? At the very least, give some warning." She cross her arm.

"Look, I tried my best to save you at least say thank you." I stated.

"Enough." Her manager interrupt.

"He's the one who started it." She sniffles while pointing at me.

The manager make his way to Sohee to ask her to sat on the sofa to comfort her as her eyes start to become teary and crystalize. While Uncle Bear walk up straight to me and stand next to me while I just stare at Sohee that are sobbing hard.

"You really make her cry on your first day, huh." Uncle Bear stated.

"It's not like I hurt her, right ? I just save her from those maniac." I turn to Uncle Bear.

"I know it's not your fault completely but you did save her life. Maybe next time, just don't lift her up as you like cause I don't think she likes that." He said.

"Yeah, I have feelings that she hates me now." I turn my eyes on her and we had an eye contact which I ran my eyes to the manager who's walking up to us.

He walk straight to us with his serious face which make me felt uncomfortable with it. Seems like he wanted to fired me and surely I fucked up my job on first day.

"Yoomin, I heard. Is that your name ?" The manager stare at my eyes.

"Yes, sir." I answer.

"Look, I don't wanna make things more complicated and I heard enough. I let you off with the first warning for now. I hope you didn't do it again and I'm sure Dae has explain everything about your job desk. I don't want anything like this happen again, understand ?" He stated with a stern voice.

"I understand but I just wanna know if she's okay ?" I asked.

"She's all good just shocked by what just happen. This is my number, if anything I need you this following rest week, I'll hit you up. Just a reminder, the next week is her rest day and you don't need to come to the agency, no if I don't called you. That's all. Uncle Dae, I need to talk to you." He walk away.

"Seems like your job here is done, go to my room and wait there. I'll be up in just a minutes." Uncle Bear said.

He goes off chasing the manager that went out of the lobby and I turn my eyes on Sohee. I caught her stare at me with her sad eyes. She mock me with her tongue before walking up with her stuff to the lift.
