"Old pal"

After several minutes of ride, I've reach Josh's house which have a farm house vibes. I did text him before I arrive here and he reply just park my bike in front of his house. After parking my bike, I rang his door bell then after a few minutes, he open his door and there is the man that I haven't seen after that trap mission by the police. He didn't change bit.

"Josh." I said forming a smile on my lips.

"Dee." He pull me into his arms.

"I thought that I would never met my leader anymore." He said in tears.

"Yeah, me too." I said.

But then, someone call him from behind and I notice that voice is a kid. He's like a five years old kid and Josh ask the kid to come here. He lift up the kid and greet him to me.

"Dee, this is my son. His name is John. Say hi to Uncle Dee." He ask his son to wave at me.

"Oh, Josh. You are already married. That's beautiful. Hi, John. How are you ?" I said while waving my hand to him.

"I'm fine." He answer stutter.

"Come on in." He invite me to get inside.

I walk inside with him and his son. He ask me to sat on the dining table at the kitchen as his wife doing the dishes. I sat at the dining table and witness a happy family in front of my eyes. Looking at Josh jokingly with his wife while she doing the dishes remind me of my muffin. Now, I miss her but I'm sure she's sleeping right now.

"Hey, want something to eat ?" Josh ask me while he sat across to me.

"It's okay." I said.

"Oh come on. You want a taste of my wife homemade chicken confit ? It's really delicious." He recommend.

I shake my head but then my stomach growl so loud until his wife can hear it. I got shy and they all laugh at me. Josh stand up and went to the kitchen as he wanted to cook the food for me. They both husband and wife cook the food for me. His son walk up to me and sat beside me.

"How's school John ?" I ask.

"It's okay, but I get a lot bullies at school." He reply.

"Why? Did someone hit you ?" I asked in a worried tone.

"No, just everyone mock me cause I have a scaredy cat father they said. They said that dad didn't know how to fight as he just gave the horses food to eat." He explain.

"Oh, for what I knew your father is not a scaredy cat." I said.

"I know. He's the bravest of them all. He once help me from the bullies by scaring them away. Dad, is always there for me." Little John said.

"Yeah, your father is the bravest man, I know. He didn't scared of anything. He's obedient and always think before act." I said.

"I'm glad to hear that, Dee." Josh said.

"Dad, you overheard our talk." John said.

"Yes, son and I'm glad to hear it from a great and better man than myself. Now, continue your conversation. The food will be ready in 10 minutes." He said.
