"I'll be here"

"Voi-effing-là."

I read the words again and again just to make sure I'm seeing it correctly. Redfield.

"See, my great-great-grandmother Olivia Redfield, that was her maiden name." John B explains.

For a moment we just stare at the stone in silence, until John B breaks it again. "Help me with the door", he tells us. "Come on."

Pope joins John B by the door and they start pushing the door open but it just won't move, "Are you pushing?"

"Yeah I'm pushing!"

"Come on."

"Hold on, I got it", JJ joins them too, but that makes no difference.

"This door is like 700 pounds. It's not gonna budge", Pope gives up, turning to John B.

"We didn't come this far to get this far, all right?" JJ shoots down his words, still trying to push the door open with John B.

"Maybe it's a sign to leave it alone?" Kie suggests, cold shivers runing down her skin as she rubs her arms and looks around. "We should leave the dead people out of this, it's creeping me out."

"We got this", John B grunts, but as soon as he finishes his sentence he pulls his hands away from the door.

"What?"

A loud hiss anwers to my question as JJ also pulls his arms quickly away and the rest of us take a few steps back. "Snake!"

"That's a moccasin, all right", JJ lets us know.

"Who cares, it's a snake and it can kill us!" I snap at him while holding Kie's arm. I'm not the biggest fan of snakes, and poisonous or not, it's still a horrible thing.

Out of nowhere, JJ starts barking.

"JJ, shut up. Shut up!" Kie says voice full of fear, but the snakes starts to leave.

"You're gonna wake the dead man", Pope pulls him further away from the tomb.

"They're afraid of dogs, everyone knows that man", JJ shrugs like it's a common day for him to bark at snakes. John B starts to go back to the door but he stops him. "Wait, hold on."

"What?" John B's voice is clearly frustrated.

"If there's one, there's probably dozens."

"What?" I whisper in unison with Pope, my eyes wide with fear.

"All around", JJ whispers now smirking, purposefully scaring us even more.

"Stop! You're scaring me", Kie cries out but JJ just stops barking again, looking at Kie amused.

"Stop barking at the snakes!" John B snaps at him.

"I'm just making sure it's all clear", he tries to act all innocent.

"Shut up", I slap him at the arm, earning a painful slap back, but finally he closes his mouth.
