"Tyrion." Rieka breathed back. "Can we do this reunion after I jump in the fire and get something to drink?"

Tyrion Lannister was no competition. Except for his name and family wealth and lands. But otherwise gendry had the height and rieka was surely already falling for him.

"Yes of course." Tyrion agreed awestruck by her presence.

"Great." Rieka agreed.

She had aged beautifully. She had a youthfulness about her still but she grew up. Her curves more defined as she shed frozen clothes and bundled up under blankets. Her face had changed slightly her eyes somewhat if possible more beautiful and striking against her frozen nose and cheeks.

And now she had a new guard dog it seemed.

"I think we need to stay like this." Gendry remarked shivering into RIeka. "Just like this."

"Just like this." Rieka repeated her cold nose running over his neck.

"You are so beautiful, frozen and all." Gendry whispered, her breath heating his skin. She blushed, the cold and the heat of the blush rising in her cheeks making her cheeks hurt.

Tyrion hated how another man could make rieka blush. He loved her still. Even after all this time. He loved her and yet she was moving on.

He felt so tall as she looked up at him from a frozen bundle on the ground but now as she sat with gendry he felt like the smallest man that ever lived.

"Come on, lets get some food," Rieka begged jumping up, she pulled Gendry with her, he didnt let go of her. "I hope she gets there in time."

"Me too," Gendry agreed but he wasnt thinking about the other men they left, he couldnt think past wow Rieka is beautiful, how is she related to Arya?

She saw the sass and the smirk on rieka's face that resembled her sisters, but Rieka was a woman and Arya had been a  child. Feisty and rambunctious.

"We got a long way to go." Rieka realized. "When they get back, then they go to the capital and then... shit, what if this doesnt work? What if Cersei says no and to fuck off?"

"It's okay, we got each other we will figure this out. You and me." Gendry assured kissing her cheek, she blushed harder.

Tyrion hated it.

"Food?" Rieka questioned. There was one thing gendry wanted to devour and it wasn't food but she was so delicious. "I'm starving. Also feel like we should wait out of respect to the lot that might be dying out there but..." she stomach grumbled. "You said you never been north before you will love winterfell," Rieka assured

"You inviting me home too meet your family?" Gendry questioned.

"Most of my family is dead and your always know arya and you just met jon so..." rieka shrugged.

Gendry's hand inched towards riekas as she leaned into him. When he so delicately grabbed her hand she gave it a tight squeeze. It felt like the beginning and the end as Daenerys came back and Jon wasn't with them.

Sandor slid down and rieka rushed to him- well past him and gawked at the dragon.

"Beautiful." Rieka purred reaching out a hand. Drogon stared down at her. Sandor pulled her back.

"You got a death wish girl?" Sandor barked.

"You just rode a dragon!"

"Yeah, you got a death wish?" Sandor repeated keeping her back.

"Dragons!" Rieka shouted. "Wait, where's Jon?" Sandor hesitated. "Sandor?" She whispered, he hated to see her so worried, her eyes widened and glistened as her lip quivered, he could have chalked it up to the cold but she was used to the cold. Her chest rose and fell heavier and faster, her face turned down and she couldnt breathe. Sandor wrapped his arms around her as she cried into him, her tears freezing instantly.

Unexpectedly, a dark, mounted rider plowed through the advancing horde, spinning a flaming weapon that killed the soldiers as he passed.

He rode through to Jon and dismounted. He dropped his hood and Jon stared back at him his uncle Benjen.

"Uncle Benjen! How?" Jon rasped. Benjen grabbed hold of Jon and lead him to the horse slinging him over.

" You ride for the pass." Benjen answered instead.

"Come with me." Jon begged.

"It's not time." Benjen whispered. Jon opened his mouth to object. "Go!" Benjen corrected slapping the horses rear sending it galloping. He ignites his weapon again. The undead army attacked, his fire went on as Jon rode away.

"My brother... my last brother gone." Rieka whimpered. Gendry wanted to be the one rieka clung to but sandor had become family to her and he kept a protective hand on her as she cried out. "I want to go back, I will look for him, maybe he's still-"

"no," Sandor growled low in his throat.

"Sandor," Rieka whimpered.

"Rieka-"

"He can't be-"

"Rieka," Sandor spun her around, a man in black was slung over a horse, she ran to him he fell off the horse and landed with a crunch. Rieka cringed as she dropped beside him.

"JON!" She begged, Gendry moved to her helping Jon up, but he was unconscious. "Get him inside." RIeka instructed hoisting him up. "Get him warmed up."

Rieka paced as the maester worked. Gendry watched her intently. She couldnt focus on anything, her mind racing as her feet walked back and forth, back and forth. Every time the floor creaked she thought it was the door opening but when the maester did come out, Jon was asleep. The maester suggested Rieka do the same. Her brother would live.

Gendry went to get Rieka some food but she had moved to a little cabin on the ship, her knees tucked into her chest, arms wrapped around herself as she stared into the fire. Gendry put the plate down, sitting beside her, she leaned into him.

"He's going to be okay." Rieka whispered.

"Are you going to be okay?" Gendry questioned.

"I will be when he gets up and starts moving again." Rieka agreed. "Thanks for checking on me."

"What are friends for." Gendry mentally slapped himself, he didnt want to be friends.

"Right." Rieka agreed slowly, turning her gaze back to the fire.
