11. Risk

"When are we leaving for winterfell?"

"We arent." Cersei corrected. 

"Excuse you?" RIeka sassed. 

"RIeka, I just got my boy back, we cant go there-"

"My family is there." Rieka countered. "They need your help, your armies."

"No. I need to protect my son. I thought he was dead. We go there and that bitch of a dragon kills me and I miss out- HE- Gendry will miss out on getting to know his mother." 

"Cersei," Rieka begged. "My family is counting on your men. Your armies to help."

"And I might have gone but not anymore. I have something to live for now." Cersei corrected. 

"And if my family dies because you refused to help?" Rieka countered. 

""You are in danger if you go." Cersei corrected. "I'm not losing any more family."

"Cersei my family, MY family!" Rieka shouted. "Arya and Sansa and Bran, little bran are there and I need to be with them." Rieka remarked.

"I know you do, but... you have to think about your world." Cersei corrected.

"What?"

"Rieka, please listen to me when I was younger I met a witch and she told me I would get everything I wanted but everything would be taken away. Please..."

'We shouldn't be out here alone.' Alisha said looking around nervously.

"Why not?' cersei questioned as they marched through the woods.

"If your father—' '

"He'll never know we're gone.' Cersei assured.

'But if he finds out...' '

'You don't need to be afraid of my father.' Cersei told her. 'especially not after I hear what I need to.' the sound of insects buzzing around them as they got deeper into the woods made Alisha nervous. Cersei was always getting her into trouble.

' 'We shouldn't go in.' Alisha said looking to the little hut. 'how did you even know about this place?" She questioned.

"Shut up, I have my ways and of course are going in.' The buzzing of the insects, screeches of birds, shrieks and little gasps escaped Alishas lips as the woman shot up towards them.

'Get out. Get out!!' she demanded, Alisha grabbed Cersei's arm pulling her.

''Let's go.'

"No.' Cersei said defiantly.

"Listen to your friend.' The witch agreed.

'They said that you were terrifying with cat's teeth and three eyes. You're not terrifying. You're boring.' Cersei declared. '

"'You don't know what I am.''

'I know you're a witch and you can see the future. Tell me mine.' Cersei demanded.

''Everyone wants to know their future until they know their future.' The witch corrected.

'This is our father's land. My land. Tell me my future or I'll have your two boring eyes gouged out of your head.' Cersei spat. But the witch just chuckled.

'Your blood.' The witch instructed.

"what?" Cersei questioned as the witch grabbed cersei's hand.

"Give me a taste.' She bite cerseis hand and Cersei whimpered out.

'Three questions you get. You won't like the answers.' '

"I heard my father talk of marriage to a prince, I've basically been promised to the prince. When will we marry?' Cersei said right away.

"You will never wed the prince. You will wed the king.'

"But I will be queen?' cersei went on.

"Oh, yes. You'll be queen. For a time. Then comes another, younger, more beautiful, to cast you down and take all you hold dear.' Cersei glared at her. '

'W-will the king and I have children?'

"Yes. One. but the king will have 20 children and you will have three.'

"That doesn't make sense.' Cersei informed her aggressively.

"Gold will be their crowns. Gold their shrouds.' The witches laugh cackled through the hut. "They will all be taken from you."

"She knew. She knew back then. She knew my future!" Cersei shouted.

"Gold will be their crowns. Gold their shrouds." Rieka repeated.

" they will all be taken from me. Taken!" cersei shouted. "First joffrey then myrcella. Tommen... my little tommen." Cersei whimpered. "Now I have Gendry, I have my little boy back." Cersei begged. "I can't lose him."

"You wont. We will protect him."

"Cant protect him from dragons."

"He's not a child, Cersei." Rieka countered. "He doesnt really need protecting like Tommen did. He has learned and survived more than most." RIeka added grabbing her hand. 

"It's something i am not willing to risk. Please, I can't risk him."
