You're losing me / Ned Stark / Sandor clegane out now!
Cersei came into Gendry's room and she found herself contented at the sight before her. Rieka in Gendry's arms their limbs interwoven together. Naked bodies barely covered with the sheets.
Cersei wanted the best for her children. She wondered if Rieka could have tamed joffrey but it was too late for that. Gendry jumped at the creek of the floorboards.
"Good morning." Cersei said fondly. Rieka blinked awake.
"You should knock." Rieka declared as Gendry awkwardly covered himself.
"And miss this beautiful sight of my baby and his-"
"Is there any news from winterfell?" Rieka straightened in bed.
"Not yet." Cersei corrected. She saw Rieka's eyes fall to her lap, her shoulders slumped. "I'm sure they are fine, don't put this on yourself." Cersei added.
"We should have went, should have sent-" Rieka began but Cersei moved to her.
"And left you and us vulnerable?" Cersei tsked. "Rieka, I know you, you are smarter than that. You would leave us all vulnerable. You dont want to do that. To be watching your family from the grave."
"No but... then we would know whats going on over there. We would know... my family..." Rieka whispered, Gendry reached out holding her hand.
"That woman, that dragon bitch, she will turn on your family." Cersei added.
"Jon likes her." Rieka countered softly.
"If she ever sits the throne, it will be a hollow crown with our bones at her feet." Cersei added.
"They are my family, I love them." Rieka reminded her. "I can't just turn that off."
"Love can kill." Cersei corrected.
"Jon seems resilient," Gendry remarked. "I'm sure the wolf will be at our door in no time." Rieka smiled kissing him gently as he leaned into her.
"You two need to be ready for the worst." Cersei reminded them. "I would like your help Gendry, you are my heir, you should be in on whats going on here." Gendry looked to Rieka hesitantly, he was going to sit in on a council meeting? "We have work to do."
"Gendry will be along in a moment." RIeka countered not letting go of his hand. Gendry smiled as RIeka hid her face in his neck. "I love you, Gendry." rieka whispered.
"I love you." Gendry echoed
She felt his hands on her, she closed her eyes leaning into him, she could only feel his gentle touch. They simply kissed for a time, his hands caressing her neck.
Rieka straddled his lap, wrapped her arms around his neck, and thoroughly kiss him. Gendry was in heaven.
Gendry was flustered. He really was grateful that Cersei was taking him under her wing but it was so different. Last time he was here he was hiding from lannister guards for the fear of his life. Joffrey had wanted him dead. Now he was front and center, being introduced as Gendry Baratheon- Lannister.
There was already word of naming him king but he shook his head saying he could never be king, he wouldnt know what to do. Cersei liked that as well. That he wasnt trying to steal her crown, he didnt want it at all in fact.
Rieka was watching for ravens and sending out her own, she stared at the courtyard gates as she threw balls for Avalon, she bound after them before sprinting back, ball in mouth, dropping it at Rieka's feet. She fumbled for the ball before throwing it once again.
Gendry looked the part of a prince, he wore lannister reds and felt very out of place. He had never had clothes this fine before. He fixed his shirt as he moved to rieka in the courtyard, she turned to him as Avalon ran towards him happily.
Rieka whistled looking him over.
"Damn." She added. Gendry chuckled doing a spin.
"What do you think?"
"Hot damn, you clean up nice, my prince." She purred kissing him.
"No, I will never get used to that, please dont." Gendry begged. "But keep kissing me." He countered arms linked around her back holding her hostage against him.
Gendry glanced to Avalon as she nudged the ball towards him. He grabbed it from her mouth and gave it a throw.
"She likes you." Rieka remarked. "She hated your half brother." Gendry shook his head.
"I never thought about the fact that I had siblings." Gendry admitted.
"They are dead," Rieka countered bluntly. "But so are some of mine..."
"It hasnt been that long since we came here." Gendry remarked. "Since Jon left."
"They took the ship up and rode in from the harbor, it would have taken a few days, less than a week no doubt, much faster than riding the whole way. That takes forever." Rieka remarked. "We dont even know if they are dead, if they are coming, if..." Gendry held her closer. "If the battle is coming or yet to come." She whispered. "And I feel so useless here."
"You are not useless.... I hate to admit it but it this is the end, I'm glad I got to spend it getting to know my mother. Getting to know her as she is and not what the people said about her." Gendry remarked. "I think it is selfish but I'm glad you stayed with me. Because I feel very out of place when i'm not with you. so thank you, Rieka."
"Well when a prince commands me to stay-" She teased, he kissed her, her eye lids fluttering closed as she melted into him. Avalon came back up dropping the ball at their feet, it rolled off Gendry's freshly polished boots and avalon ran back to chase it again. She dropped it between them and it didnt roll this time she waited a millisecond before whining out.
"Is this what its like to have a baby?"
