"What did I ever do to deserve this?" The tweet reads.
I immediately break down crying. I'm the reason for this. I'm the reason he's feeling like this. I can't bring myself to apologize to him. He wasn't treating me like he should.
All of the sudden, I hear the door open.
"Listen Trevor," I say. "We've bro-"
"What are you talking about?" Ricky says.
"Sorry I thought you were Trevor," I apologize.
"We're you going to say something about breaking up? Care to tell me what happened?" Ricky asks.
"No it's okay Ricky. I don't want to get you all caught up in this. Besides, didn't Kylie tell you?"
"Um no. I just got back from shopping and was going to put my bags in my bedroom when I heard someone crying. And I don't mind getting caught in this. Trevor's one of my best friends and you're like my little sister. I'm willing to help you both."
I tell Ricky everything. From our date, to him making that period comment, to his tweet. He stays throughout it all and listens intently.
He gets off of my bed, gets on one knee, and places his hand on my leg.
"Everything will end up okay Lauren. I promise. I'll talk to Trevor and knock some sense into him," Ricky says. He kisses my forehead and leaves the room.
