I opened my window and removed the screen. Ricky had asked me to meet him at a park 5 minutes away from my house. He's driving there, so it shouldn't take him long.
I got out the window and climb down the tree. I had done this plenty of times as a kid, but never to sneak out.
I ran away from the house and reached the road behind it.
A couple minutes later, I reached the park. I saw him sitting on a bench on his phone.
"Hey," I said sitting next to him.

I looked out to the pond in front of us when I felt a hand grasp mine. I looked up to see Ricky smiling at me.
"Did you really mean it?" I blurted out. "What you said on the phone?"
"Yes."
"Why did you want me to meet you here?" I asked him.
Ricky closed his eyes then opened them. "Kylie? Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed. He chuckled at my childish behavior and then he kissed me. Of course, I kissed him back. I instantly felt the sparks. We both pulled away and just smiled at each other.
