{Lauren's pov}
I hear my phone rumbling next to my ear as I pick it up."Hello?" I say with my usual phone greeting.
"Hey Lauren. It's Ricky," His angelic voice speaks into my ear. I almost fall off my bed. I quickly calm down and try not to have a heart attack as I speak to him.
I'm about to speak before Ricky interrupts. "Hey listen, can you do something for me?"
"Um.. Sure?" I say still at a loss for words.
"I need to meet Kylie at the park by her house. I need to ask her something."
"And what might that be?" I ask Ricky with a smirk on my face.
"I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend." I can sense the excitement as he talks of my sister. Yes, of course I'm jealous like any fangirl would be. But I can't help but to be happy for them. Besides, Trevor and I kissed. Plus he confessed that he likes me. Like, who wouldn't want that?
"So what do you need my help with?"
"I need you to distract your mother so Kylie can sneak out," Ricky says. He seems nervous. He probably feels bad for making her sneak out. But at the same time I know he really wants to see Kylie so I don't blame him."She'll probably use the tree by her bedroom window," I answer. "She wouldn't dare to come downstairs."
"I just don't want your mother to see her out the windows or anything. Please Lauren?" Ricky tries to reason with me. I eventually become not so stubborn. I need to do this. For Ricky and Kylie.
"It would be my pleasure, sir," I say trying to sound sophisticated.
He chuckles at my attempt. "Talk to you later. Bye Lauren."
"Bye Ricky!" I say and hang up. I try not to fangirl too hard, but again, I almost fall off my bed.
"It's now or never," I say before opening my door and heading downstairs.
