Author's Note: Hey, y'all. I'm here with another episode of TDI. Enjoy the chapter!

"Last time on Total Drama Island, campers searched for treasure, and yours truly put on an impressive performance as a pirate. But this was no ordinary treasure hunt. Some campers put their lives on the line to snag their booty! But, in the end, the campers who went the limit were rewarded with treasures that, in hindsight, probably weren't the effort. Oh well. Except for Junko, who unknowingly saved her own butt by winning invincibility, which meant it was Leon who walked the plank."
At the docks, Chris finished up the recap. "Who will be the next unlucky loser to walk the Dock of Shame? Who will lose their cool? Who will lose their lunch? Find out, tonight, right here, on...
Total...
Drama...
Island!"

Episode Sixteen: Hide and Be Sneaky
-
The episode opened on Celestia, Hiyoko, and Junko sitting on the couch in the restaurant's lounge. Junko was eating the snacks that were included in her prize basket from the previous challenge. She passed a bag of gummies to Hiyoko, who happily accepted the offer.
"You sure you don't want any snacks, Celes?" Junko asked, holding out the basket towards her.
Celestia rejected the offer with a polite hand. "No thanks. I am more interested in discussing who we will be voting off tonight."
"Oh." Junko set her basket down, taking a strawberry pocky from the box in her other hand and popping it into her mouth. "Right. Did you have anyone particular in mind?"
"Not anybody specific, but I have noticed something rather peculiar: there are six girls and only four boys left on the island. I assume you know that means?"
"Yeah. Huh." Junko tapped her chin in thought. "I think I have an idea on how we can use that to our advantage..."
-
All of the remaining campers were assembled with Chris at the docks, who was explaining the week's challenge.
"Today's challenge is a good old-fashioned game of hide-and-seek," he explained.
-
CONFESSIONAL - JUNKO:
She pumped her fists excitedly. "Yes! A challenge I can get behind!" A chuckle escaped her lips as she continued. "I played hide-and-seek with my sister a lot when we were kids. I was the best hider—it'd be hours before she found me, and..." She trailed off, a frown taking over. "...Wait."
-
CONFESSIONAL - KAEDE:
She groaned. "Oh, great. I'm the absolute worst at hide-and-seek!"
-
"You get ten minutes to hide before Chef Hatchet comes looking for you. With his military background and advanced degree in manhunting, he's uniquely qualified to make this game excruciatingly hard."
To make his point, Chef retrieved a water gun from behind his back, grinning darkly.
"What's with the toy?" an unimpressed Maki asked. Her face scrunched up in confusion as she noticed the red dot pointed at her forehead.
