Perfect Date

It's been a month since Marshall and Everest became mates. To Marshall it's been the best month of his life. He was mates with the love of his life a couldn't be happier. The other pups didn't know this yet. They knew they were dating but didn't know Marshall asked her to be his mate. That begins us today, Marshall is taking Everest on a date before her birthday.

"Marshy where are you taking me?" she asked. "You're going to have to wait and see. Eve." When they arrived, he took his paws off of Everest's to see a beautiful view of Adventure Bay from Jake's mountain. "Wow this is beautiful Marshall; we're did you find this view?" She asked. "You remember when we come up here for Thanksgiving and I took a walk, on my walk I found this spot. I wanted to take you on a date here for a while, decided now while be a good time." "Well, any date with you is special" She nuzzled into his neck. "Well how about we start are picnic." He asked. "Let's do it Marshy."

Marshall has been planning this picnic ever since Everest got pregnant. Marshall brought Everest a snowflake necklace a month ago he wanted to give her on this date. The necklace is made of Dimond with a small blue crystal in the center, the same shade of blue as Everest's eye. The only one that knew about the necklace was Chase since he helped him pick it out. Marshall wanted this date to go perfectly.

So far, the date was going how Marshall imagined it going. But when you are clumsy, not ever thing going to go your way. Marshall got up to get the necklace out of his fire truck. When he started making his way back, he slipped on a branch sticking out of the group sending the necklace into the sky. He crashed into Everest making her end on top of him.

"Sorry Eve, are you okay?" He asked worried. "Yeah, I'm fine Marshy" she said. He sighed in relief. Marshall than realized he now longer had the necklace. He began to panic and ran around like a mad man (more like a mad dog lol) in search of the necklace leaving Everest confused.

"Uh Marshall is everything okay?" "Yeah, everything's fine Eve I'm just uh looking for something Hehe" he said. Everest could hear the panic is his voice but decided to ignore it.

After searching 20 minutes Marshall decided to give up and went back to his mate. "Did you find what you were looking for Marshall" she asked when he returned. He shook his head no. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you looking for?" she asked. "Well about a month ago I brought a necklace for you that I wanted to give you on this date, but when I went to give it to you, I tripped on a branch and lost it, I'm so sorry Eve I'm the worst mate ever, I ruined are date." She was shocked by his response. "Marshy don't say that we all lose stuff here and there that doesn't make you a bad mate and if I'm being honest this has been the best date I've ever been on and you're the best mate I could have ever asked for. The necklace doesn't mean anything to me, but you mean the world to me, I love you Marshy." " I love you to Eve" they kissed as the sun started setting. After they broke up Everest spoke. "We should head back it's getting late" "yeah let's go" as the we're walking there spotted something on the ground. "what's this" Everest said picking it up. It was the necklace Marshall was wanting to give to Everest. "That's the necklace!" Marshall exclaimed. She put it around her neck. "How does it look on me?" She asked. "It looks amazing on you Eve" he replied. "Thank you Marshy, this really was the perfect date." She said nuzzling against Marshall.
