With You I Am

Marshall's never been the confident type, he was always nervous to try new stuff. Sure, when it came to his job, he was confident, but he still didn't like being the center of attention. He loved meeting people but when it came to large crowds of people Marshall always stayed to himself. The main thing he wasn't confident about was love.

The dalmatian was madly in love with the team's snow pup Everest, but he was always nervous to ask her out in fear of rejection. He believed that if he did and she didn't feel the same way she wouldn't want to be friends anymore. When he finally asked her out with the help of his best friend, he never felt happy. Turned out Everest was also in love with him and happily said yes. The two began dating and Marshall couldn't be happy.

The longer they were dating the more the pups began to notice the changes in their dalmatian friend. He seemed so much more confident than before; Everest turned the nervous the dalmatian into this confident pup.

He went from being in back by himself to having the time of his life in the middle of the crowd. This showed during the towns 50th anniversary. They always would hold a talent show during the celebration, Marshall never participated in it before. That was until this year.

Marshall was one of the first to sign up for the talent show. The pups were surprised by this being he never did it before. When the day of the talent show rolled around Marshall was visual excited for it. Everest noticed it and went to talk to him

"Hey Marshy, you excited for the talent show?" She asked. "Yes, I'm so excited!" He said jumping up and down, this made Everest giggle. "I've never seen you this excited for a talent show" She giggled. "Well, it's my first-year part taken in one, and I have something special in store." He said excitedly.

The talent show began, everyone was having a blast. Finally, it was Marshall's turn, he walked up to the stage with a smile on his face and grabbed the mic. The pups didn't know what to expect, that thought would be answered when music started playing in the background

"I never been a cool hand Luke" the pups were surprised, they never heard him sing before.

"The quarterback of the winning team, or the guy with the right kind of punch line everyone wants to be. " Marshall had an amazing voice that shocked the other pups and almost made Everest pass out.

"I never was that lucky Ol 'cuss with a straight flush in his hand" He turned towards Everest.

"Oh, but with you, I am" Everest could feel her fur becoming hot as he said that.

"Strong as an oak, soft like leather, high as a pine and light as a feather, The same Ol 'boy but a whole lot better, whenever you're holding my hand, I used to poke fun at them punch drunk lovers, I never thought I'd be that man, oh but with you I am, Oh Baby with you I am" Everest could feel a tear making down her cheek. She never had someone sing for her before.

After Marshall finished it was quiet. He looked around nervously before the crowd erupted in cheers. Marshall's never been cheered like this before, it felt nice for the dalmatian. Before he could get off the stage Everest jumped on stage and tackled him into a passionate kiss. He kissed back after overcoming the shock. The crowd grow even louder as their favorite couple parted from the kiss.

He walked off stage with Everest leaning up against him. He was met by the other pups waiting on him with the mouths opened with shock.

"Dude I nevew knew you could sing" Yelled Zuma. "Yeah, why did you hide this from us! You sounded amazing." Said Rocky. "For real dude your voice is incredible" Relied Chase. "Yeah" said Skye. Marshall giggled at the pups. "Well, I was always nervous to sing in front of people, but ever since I started dating Everest, she made me feel like I could do anything" He said looking at her.

"Aww" The pups said. Marshall and Everest shared another kiss before enjoying the rest of the night together.

After they returned to the lookout the pups went to their pup houses to go to bed, Everest however was able to sleep with Marshall. She followed him into his pup house.

They closed the door behind them and got ready for bed. Before they did Everest decided to ask him a question.

"Hey Marshy?" She asked. "Yes, my love" He replied. She loved when he called her that. "Did you mean everything you said in the song?" She asked. "Yes, every single thing Everest. With you I feel like I can do anything. With you I am happy." He replied as they cuddled up drifting off to sleep. Marshall found a new form of confidence in himself thanks to the Husky. He never felt better.
