Best Night Of My Life.

It was a beautiful day in Adventure Bay. The birds were singing, the sun was shining, and the pups were out and about playing in the yard. They were playing tag and Chase was it, at first, he was chasing his favorite cockapoo, Skye. He only stopped chasing her when he noticed Marshall was paying attention. He snuck up behind him and....

"Tag your it Marshall" he began to run away when he noticed Marshall hasn't moved. "Marshall" He called out walking back towards him. Marshall still didn't respond or move. "Marshall!" He yelled tapping Marshall on the shoulder. Marshall flinched before looking at Chase confused.

"Oh hi Chase, where did you come from" Marshall asked." What were you thinking about Marsh? You seemed to be lost in thought" He asked. "Oh, uhhh nothing" Marshall shuttered. "hmmmm you sure you won't thinking about a certain snow pup." He teased. "Uhhh yeah I sure, I have no idea what you're talking about Chase Hehe" he said nervously.

"You don't sound so sure Marshall; I don't believe you. You were thinking about your favorite husky, come on just admit. You like her." Chase teased. "Fine you caught me. I may have fallen in l-love with Everest" Marshall replied. "I knew it!" Yelled Chase. Marshall covered his mouth with his paw.

"Not so loud Chase, I don't want the others to know. Especially Everest." Chase nodded as Marshall took his paw off his mouth. "Alright your secret is safe with Marshall" Marshall smiled and the two went to join the others.

Jake's Mountain:

Everest was just sitting in her room when Jake walked in.

"Hey Everest, I've got some news to share with you." He said sitting down next to Everest. "Ooh what's the news Jake? " She asked. "Well, I'm going with some friends to Mount Everest" he Replied. "That sounds fun, but what about me?" She asked. "Well, I talked to Ryder, and he said you can stay with them till I get back. How does that sound?"

"Sounds good Jake, I get to hang out with the other pups!" She said. Her tail was wagging at the speed of light. "Woah calm down Everest, if you don't stop you might fly away" He laughed. "Sorry Jake, I just haven't hung out with the pups in a while." She said calming down.

"Hehe, I know your excited, especially since you get to see your crush" He giggled. Everest started blushing. "I-I don't have a c-crush." She shuttered.

"Sure, you don't Everest, it's not like you talk about a certain dalmatian a lot in your sleep." He teased. "W-what! I-I......." She could finish her sentence. "Haha I'm messing with you Everest, but you should ask him out soon. You never know if someone else will try and take him from you. "He said. Everest didn't say a word, she knew he was right. She's been hiding her feelings for him since she joined the paw patrol, those feelings grew the more she spent time with him.

"I know Jake it's just.... What if he doesn't like me back?" Jake reached his hand out and patted her head. "Well, you'll never know if you don't ask Everest, and I have a feeling he feels the same way." He reassured. "Thanks Jake, you always know how to cheer me up" she said lickings him on the cheek. He giggled before pulling her into a hug. Once the hug ended Everest went into her room to get her stuff ready to go to the lookout.

Once she had packed everything, she said goodbye to Jake and headed off to the lookout.

The pups were playing in the yard when the heard a familiar vehicle arriving at the lookout. Sure, enough when they all looked towards the front, they saw Everest's snowcat pulling into the look. The pups ran to her to greet her, the first one there was of course Marshall.

"Everest!" Marshall yelled as her ran towards her. "Marshall!" She yelled as she jumped out and ran towards him. The two tackled and began hugging, little did they know the others were right behind watching this unfold.

"Aww" Marshall and Everest looked up from their hug and seen the others staring at them. The two got off each with a noticeable red tint on their faces. The pups teased them the rest of the day after that calling them names like "Evershall" and "Marverest." They didn't mind it, actually they liked it. They finally stopped teasing them after they were called in for dinner. During dinner Ryder had an announcement.

"Okay pups as you know Everest came over today, that's because she will be staying with us for the next month while Jake is hanging out with friends on Mount Everest. "He said." The pups cheered as they got to hang out with their husky friend for a month. The two pups the most excited about that being Everests best friend Skye who was happy to have another female there, and of course Marshall.

The pups celebrated by having a pup pup boogie tournament. The first round pinned Chase vs Everest, Marshall Vs Rocky, Skye Vs Zuma, And Rubble Vs Ryder who dedicated to play to make it even. Everest and Chase were the first two up, Chase took an early lead before Everest tied it up. The game was almost over with the two still neck and neck, eventually Everest barely pulled away and beat Chase to move on.

Next up was Marshall Vs Rocky. Marshall took a big lead to start the game; Rocky tied his hardest to come back but Marshall was able to hold on a beat Rocky. For a clumsy pup Marshall was a pretty good dancer. Skye went against Zuma next with Skye coming out victorious against the lab. The last match in round one was Rubble vs Ryder. Rubble wiped the floor with Ryder being since Ryder never played pup pup boogie before.

The second round began with Skye vs Everest, the two girls went neck and neck both wanting to win. Everest however was too good for Skye to keep up eventually falling to the Husky. Marshall and Rubble went next with Rubble taking a huge lead thanks to Marshall's clumsiness. However, towards the end Rubble messed up a move and Marshall took advantage taking the win from Rubble meaning the final round was Marshall Vs Everest. Everest had an idea to make this even more interesting.

"Let's make this interesting Marshall if I win, I get to sleep with you tonight." She smirked. Marshall was shocked by this, but a thought appeared in his head. "And if I win, you owe me a kiss" He smirked back. She blushed but agreed and the two began the round. They were close all game with neither of them being able to pull away. that was until Everest got an evil idea. Once she got a tiny lead, she went for a move and pretended to hurt her paw.

"Oww!" She said Fallin to the ground. Instantly Marshall rushed to her side. "Are you okay Everest, are you hurt." He said checking her paw. "Yeah, I'm fine, it's just that.... I won!" She said pointing to game where Everest had just beat Marshall by a point. "Wait you tricked me!?" Marshall yelled frustrated. Everest never heard Marshall yell before.

"I-I'm sorry Marshall I-I just wanted to win so badly I decided to fake getting hurt, I'm sorry." She said lowering her head. Marshall calmed down before picking her head up to look at him. "It's okay Everest, I get that you wanted to win. I just got frustrated that you did that. You know I care about you a lot." He said. Everest smiled which caused Marshall to smile back.

Everest got up and the two shared a hug. The pups all awed together at the two. Eventually it was time for bed. Marshall held up his end of the deal and lead Everest to his pup house closing the door after they entered.

"I can sleep on the floor so you can have my bed" Marshall said. "No, you're sleeping on the bed with me." She said. Marshall blushed heavily at her response. "W-Wha" was all that came out of his mouth. "Silly Marshall, you really think I would ask to sleep in your pup house with you and not want to cuddle. That's the whole reason I wanted to sleep in here." She said hopping on the bed. Marshall didn't argue against it and hopped on the bed with her. Before he could lay down Everest kissed him on the lips. Marshall about passed on the spot by was able to gain his composure and kissed back. The two parted and Everest snuggled up with the dalmatian. Marshall just smiled seeing his favorite husky cuddled up next to him

"Goodnight Marshy" Everest said before falling asleep. "Goodnight Eve." Marshall drifted of to sleep cuddled up with his new girlfriend.

To the new couple, this was the best night of their life's.
