The light shone heavily on her eyelids, causing her to blink rapidly and toss and turn in her sleeping bag til she managed to shuffle her position to a more comfortable sight... Joshie. Despite the bandages and the brutality of his past, he looked like a little puppy while sleeping. Carrie wasn't sure what to think of that but nonetheless enjoyed watching his chest rise and fall in a slow, fluid motion. It was like watching the hands of a clock slowly tick. Strangely satisfying yet mind-numbing too.

She eventually unzipped her sleeping bag and stood up, stretching her legs and arms, almost falling backwards before balancing herself. The fire Joshua and her made was long dead, charred ash littered the bottom of the fire. Joshua hadn't stirred yet. For a demon of the Legion, he slept like a baby, though she did see the glint of his .45 under his pillow.

She quietly approached him and unzipped his bag as slowly as she could so as to not alert him and leaned over him.

"Heeeey....Joshieeee...wake uuuuuuup." she whispered sultrily in his ear... or where she thought his ear was.

He seemed to have heard her but it wasn't quite enough to wake him yet. Getting slightly annoyed by him unintentionally ignoring her, she lightly jabs him in the cheek, making sure to not touch his burns.

Graham is startled awake by the poking and wakes up, seeing Carrie on top of him, staring at him curiously.

"Carrie.... what are you doing?"

"Just wanted ya to wake up. You were sleeping like a baby!"

"....Let us keep going, we must get to New Vegas."

"Ugh, you're no fun! So serious all the time." she moaned, "Why can't ya just be a fun guy for once? Pleeeeeease? For me? I promise you won't have to drink or use chems...."

Joshua wanted to remind her that chems had no effect on him but he instead just sighed and got up, trying to avoid her innocent gaze. He wondered if she truly was innocent or if she was merely pretending to be. Her motive for the latter was unknown to Graham as of now but 2 theories were in the works:

1. It's an act so people underestimate her

2. She's hiding something

Joshua put these thoughts to bed for now and packed away his sleeping bag. Carrie did the same, though she was clearly still pouting over Joshua ignoring her and occassionaly glanced and scowled at him. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at her immaturity and strided off towards New Vegas, barely allowing her to keep up.
