The winter festival was finally upon them and the boys couldn't be any more excited for it. There was much laughter and many selfies and videos taken as they prepared behind the 'Home Tree', before collecting their blessings and making their exit out of the tree to greet the people of the festival that awaited them.
The fairies were certainly a sight to behold in their robes of white, silver and light blue, decorated with intricate patterns and beading, their wings patterned as different as snowflakes and the shimmery glittery make-up made their skin look frost kissed. Their headdresses, the only splash of color to contrast their costumes, were wreaths of evergreens, silver dollar eucalyptus and white baby's breath interwoven with beautiful winter flowers.
Jimin's headdress was of white Amaryllis flowers with bright pink centers and pink Camellias, which suited his freshly dyed silvery gray hair. Hoseok wore a crown of blue Hydrangea, white Peonies and blue Camelia flowers, while Taehyung's was made of white Perennial flowers and red Chrysanthemums. Jungkook's headdress was adorned with deep red Dahlias and Magnolias woven with pine and winter berries. Perfect against his now soft blonde locks.
They were, once again, stunningly beautiful. The crowd simply couldn't get enough. The four young men, once again, made everyone present believe that fairies were indeed, very real.
After many selfies, walking around and admiring the floral exhibits, dancing with and playing with the children, lunch had finally arrived for the four fairies. They decided to go to a cafe the design students raved about and recommended them to try. It was near the university and was apparently very popular with everyone. Pretty Little Cafe certainly lived up to its name, the food was delicious, prices affordable, and the owner was friendly...and gorgeous, or so the girls doing their hair and makeup fawned while laughing at their school girl behavior. One of the girls even made the boys blush in embarrassment when she told them that if they were to ever work at the cafe she was sure people would flood the cafe everyday just to sit and stare at them, which had the other girls laughing in agreement.
The girls were right, the cafe was beautiful, even more so with the Christmas lights and decor in celebration of the holiday season, there was even a prettily decorated tree. It was warm and smelled exactly as one would expect Christmas to smell like. The young men definitely drew the attention of the cafe customers as they entered and made their way to a back table, careful of the costumes they still wore.
"Hello gentlemen, my name is Yoonji and I'll be serving you today," they young woman smiled as she handed each of them a menu before pulling her pen and pad from her apron pocket, "If you tell me what you'd like to drink, I can get that started for you while you decide on your meal."
"I'd like a hot chocolate please."
"I'll take one too."
"Four hot chocolates please."
As the woman left to get their drinks, the boys took in their surroundings.
"This place is pretty. I like it." Kookie complimented.
"I do too, very aesthetically pleasing." Tae agreed, looking at the place with a photographer's eye.
Soon the waitress returned with a tray of hot chocolate. The boys were in awe of the drinks. Red mugs of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon. A large marshmallow snowman decorated a red and white striped straw and a frosted gingerbread man sat on the mug's rim. The cute festive drink had the boys reaching for their phones to take pictures while complaining about it being too cute to drink before finally ordering their meals.
When the food arrived it looked and smelled delicious, but it was the presentation that made the four boys pleasantly surprised, and once again, taking pictures. The first dish was a plate of nine reindeer sliders, antlers made of broken pretzels, eight with black olives for noses, the ninth a red cherry tomato to represent Rudolph and a large serving of fries. The next, two gourmet pizzas, the dough actually molded into a Christmas tree, the toppings of cherry tomatoes and sprigs of basil sat nestled in the mozzarella like ornaments, the whole thing served on wooden boards.
